First time coming here and I am all about 1st impressions. This is why I only can give 3 stars. If my review had been based soley on Jan, the young lady that attended me it would have been 5 stars. Well got here at 5:15. Granted I did not have an appointment but the door clearly states walk-ins welcome. After me, 4 other clients come in with appointments. They are attended to quickly. The problem I have is the gentleman at the first table who seems to be running things could have told me that there was gonna be at least an hour or longer wait. He puts me in a pedichair as though I am going to be seen shortly. An hour and 45 minutes later after I eventually spoke up. The gentleman and I went back and forth on what customer service truly is and the difference between bad and good customer service. Finally a young lady named Jan sits down to do my toes. Yes I had the option to leave but was needing to get this done today. Needed my hands, toes and brows done for a function. Now, Jan was very attentive. She took the time to make sure her work was to my liking. One nail ended up crooked twice and she fixed it without complaint. I might go back but only if Jan is the tech thst will be taking care of me. The owner or manager whoever he is should re-evaluate how they handle new customers when its a busy day of...
Read moreIt pains me to even write this review but after having not been in the shop for well over a year, I went back a couple of weeks ago. 1) the guy who usually would do my pink and white was gone 2) there's only 1 person in the whole shop who can do pink and white. My nails were GORGEOUS upon leaving but 4 days later I noticed all except 3 of my nails had the nail Crack of doom. The one that gradually spreads until the nail painfully broke off. So 4 days later, 2 had broken in half but I told him I was worried abt the others with cracks. ONE day later, both middle fingers cracked and I went back for repair. Finally later that day 2 nails lifted and 1 of the repaired ones cracked again. As someone whose been getting my nails done for over 20 years, I can recognize this is indicative of cheap acrylic powder and low quality products. I should mention that I work from home doing program administration so I'm not engaging in rough activities. One nail literally broke painfully in half while I folding baby clothes. On top of that, the prices have soared since my last visit in March 2020. I loved this salon but sad to say I will not return. Unless they hire a new technician skilled in pink and white and stop using what ever this new, cheap quality product is, I will not be returning and will advise my...
Read moreJust left this place with the worst set of acrylics I've ever gotten. The male owner that started my set was very rough, and I expressed several times that he was hurting me, but he continued to file deeply and slowly cut into my skin as he had to keep filing over and over again to cover previous mistakes he made. The shape was not at all what I asked for and after he filed so far that they were past the length I wanted them, I took the file and started to do it myself to make them even. He then brought his wife over to try and fix the nails, but I believe it was too late. There are fuzzies, dust, and other things that I can't tell exactly where they came from, but are stuck under the acrylics on my nail. The underside of my nail was left untouched so my actual nail underneath is extremely noticeable and quite frankly... ugly. What disappointed me even more was the fact that I bragged about this place after a pedicure and wanted to make it my go-to nail salon, but will never be returning after this awful visit. I expressed to each of the owners that worked on my nails that I was not happy with how they looked, but they did absolutely nothing. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE OKAY WITH MEDIOCRE NAILS....
