I don’t have words to sum up my experience, but I’m going to try. Andrew is a master at his craft. I’ve never walked out of a salon looking and feeling better than I’ve ever felt in my life. I have super weird multi textured hair, and Andrew listened to every word I said and immediately knew what to do. I look 10-15 years younger!!! I almost cried when I left the salon, he’s a freaking magician. Spend the money on Andrew while he’s still in Columbus, he’ll be working on runways with Models again some day…

2-year update: I have been seeing Jacki every 2 months for almost 2 years now! We've reached my hair goals so far and now just letting it grow ✨️. Regular K18 treatments and changing up my cleanse/conditioning products has fixed scalp issues and helped my hair become thicker/fuller. Phia is always getting in new wonderful products(some of which I have at home now).

Edit: Still highly recommend going to Phia Salons! Did you know? They are eco-friendly recycling nearly everything from cut hair to foil! Went back to see Jacki again (who got promoted recently!) and had a wonderful session. Since I'm still getting used to the daily natural hair fall after ridding 3.5yr dreadlocks, decided to go shorter. Jacki and I discussed in length about hair goals coming up with a great plan. She helps a ton with recommending the right type of hair products to use, especially while I want to work on enhancing my natural curl/wave. We did partial highlight with extra toning to get the lavender look(see in photo)

Been living in Columbus for over a year now, had never been to High St until today. Had dreadlocks for about 3.5 years and decided it was time to brush them out. One of the attached photos is what hair I had left from the 'mohawk' style I had going on. Phia salon came highly rated on one of those "top 10's" for Columbus. Was very lucky to have Jacki with an opening today because I don't know how long I would've procrastinated getting my hair cut! Jacki was great with asking plenty of questions, getting my ideas and ultimately decided to keep some length. She gave good advice on products and styling for my low maintenance get up and go lifestyle. I highly recommend trying Phia or it's sister salons.

Keep in mind they go over everything in detail and start an ongoing profile with notes, have you sign an agreement as what is detailed or the opportunity to end the session before you start. This is great for those who want to make a big hair decision but feel unsure and want more time to...

ATTENTION CURLY HAIRED COMMUNITY: My stylist was the beautiful Minnie. I’ll start by saying that I am from the east coast where you can find curly stylist almost everywhere. There are popular styles and techniques that are applied to those who live there, and it just so happens that is the case with me. I booked an appointment with Minnie after looking through her handy work on IG. As I said to her, I chose her for what I perceived as attention to dimension. The problem I don’t want to run into, is a stylist who doesn’t understand that volume needs to be represented throughout the entire back of the head as well, not just the from. Well, that’s why I picked her as opposed to someone I thought would also be a good choice. As I stated before, I am very particular about who cuts my hair and how they do it and let’s just say, we came to an agreement to do it her way. I showed up for my appointment, and Minnie clearly explained all my expectations about the style, back to me in her own words. That’s how I knew she understood. She took good Nora on my desired shape, curl pattern, length preference, area of focus, etc. it was very reassuring. She then proceeded to cut and wash my hair, using a cow ash and detangling with her finders slowly, and carefully. After some last get product, which I really appreciated because I do not like a crunch or weighted hair, she proceeded to cut some outliers and dry my hair. The cut came out amazing, my curls felt pampered, and i felt confident in my style. She was definitely wonderful at her job and as a human being. My advice is to call to get in contact with her, send her pictures on what you DO and DONT want, then send a picture of your hair in lateral style. You won’t regret, I...
