Lush Cosmetics Destin Commons — Attraction in Miramar Beach

My experience at this retail location was nothing unlike anything I've experienced in my 26 years of living in the Destin area. This wasn't some lifeless warehouse to buy plasticy body syrup and artificially scented generic environmental hazards, oh no. This was a bazar for the skin. A bountiful, artful boutique of smells. And my sheppard through this fantasy was this apothicarian spirit named Rose. Fitting; considering her appreciation and understanding of scents, harmful and helpful compounds, and environmental impacts of industrial grade skin care manufacturing were so genuine and informed you'd think she had a familial attachment to the all natural products she was sharing with me. I'm a more "rugged" type of guy that doesn't have much of a skin care routine. And I'm bald so passive knowledge on hair care is also out of the window. Knowing this, Rose took every measure to understand my skin and face's specific needs while navigating my preferences based on my limited experience. Even through my stringent criticism and skepticism, Rose was undeterred. Various hand samples and a small facial were icing on top of icing on top of a well made cake with icing on it. I DISCOVERED TONER in this building and now I can never turn back. I had no idea what my life was being deprived of before but Rose let me know. It was moisture. My all time favorite product was this little bumble bee shaped bar of soap that was half exfoliant half honey based moisturizer. Let me tell you something...I haven't been this ecstatic about soap since Fight Club.

I cannot say enough about the customer service lush fresh handmade cosmetics gave to myself as a traveler from out-of-state. it was absolutely amazing. I have never been to lush I have never heard of lush because, well I'm not social media addicted but let me tell you... The lush cosmetics store that I visited in Destin was absolutely amazing. Hands down The ladies made me feel like I was the only one in the store even though it was packed. I want to give a shout out to Jasmine and Sarah if they are still employed they were absolutely amazing. This is absolutely the best experience I had coming to Florida visiting from Kentucky. I wish that they had these stores in Tennessee and throughout the United States because it is very much needed especially in Nashville and the surrounding areas. I could not gloat so much on this store, as I experienced the most uplifting self-esteem driven woman and man accepted experience. I cannot say how pleased I am with the Destin area allowing myself to be my own person while experiencing their handmade products. The free samples were absolutely amazing and it actually prompted me to buy more. I went in the store not expecting anything and left the store flabbergasted with the most amazing experience uplifting healthy lovely heart full experience I've ever had. So, I am traveling back just because it was such a great experience and I am out of the things that I had bought even though I could probably get it online I love the experience of smelling everything and feeling everything and being able to have small samples which prompted me to buy even more than I wanted ,and I was so happy that I did I felt that what I bought was justified. So Destin in Florida is amazing the legendary drive employees people that actually want to help you and that are very very nice so I just wanted to put that out there....

I love Lush don't get me wrong, it's one of my favorite treats to myself. And usually the experience of customer service when you walk in the door is outstanding. Not so much this visit I was taken back because typically you are greeted with a friendly enthusiastic hello welcome to Lush how can I help you, yadda yadda yadda. This time we walk in we aren't greeted until we have been in the store for at least 3 to 4 minutes. So finally a hello, that's it, another 8 minutes finally a person can I help you with something, by this time we were already calling a friend in the Atlanta area who worked for Lush and is still a die heart lover of this fabulous product, to get some help because we were looking for a specific kind of gift for our friends bridal shower and we were specifically wanting to add something special for the groom, the sales person had little to no knowledge for what would me nice for the groom! Thank goodness we had our friend who gave us an abundance of gift ideas. I have shopped at this particular store often and typically this is not the experience I have had and expect, there was some new products but no one to tell you about them,. Another family came in, their first time, I felt bad that they wouldn't get the full experience or education as to what makes this product and store so extraordinary. I will be back because I love this product, perhaps they were just having an off day. ( This was a Saturday afternoon if that makes...
