We very highly recommend Dan and his entire team at Lysi Bishop. They worked tirelessly in helping us sell our home in SE Boise / Harris Ranch at an excellent price. The best part was that once we gave the okay, we literally went to zero pressure. They stepped in (hearts and minds!) and did an outstanding job covering every aspect of the sale (design review, ordering, contractors, scheduling, time management, staging, photos, paperwork, advice, etc.). We were able to focus completely on our impending out-of-state move, kids' school admissions, new home, etc and it was such a welcome relief.
Dan was exceptional in his knowledge and command of the local market. He knew the issues and highlights of all homes sold in the neighborhood. He provided extremely clear and crisp answers to questions on pricing, strategy, what the home needed to sell & what buyers would look for. We loved that there was a clear openness and understanding of our concerns but, at the same time, he always was our anchor to reality and he was able to authoritatively quote actual data to answer the why or the how.
The next phase was home prep. Our main level / kitchen were upgraded reasonably but the rest of the home required extensive prep (paint, clean, bathroom, woodwork, windows, handyman, light fixtures). Krista (design consultant)'s design philosophy was modern, impactful and extremely effective. Once the design review was finalized, Audrey (listing coordinator) took over and was outstanding! She worked tirelessly as a full fledged general contractor (or probably 2 of them). She collected all the home documentation, scheduled multiple bids, got repeat / alternate bids when prices were out of line and worked out all the scheduling issues, walked the home many times with the contractors to ensure everything was planned, bid correctly, checked and fixed all the kinks.I never had to step out of work once and she took over the entire super heavy lift. Dan personally and his entire team were always extremely mindful of budget and bang for our buck. I don't think we could have been better stewards of our money. We were constantly kept in the loop to provide feedback on budget, progress, etc. Paula from Renew Staging and her team were also an outstanding asset to selling our home and they completely changed the look of our home!
Once home was ready, the next team took over! Seth was our transaction coordinator and he was extremely prompt, took over all the documentation, paperwork, repair records, buyer paperwork, buyer requests, coordinating final communications, contractor clean ups, etc. Dan had multiple team members who would walk the home regularly and ensure all aspects of the home were showing ready even when we were not in Boise. Teams manned open houses and gave constant feedback to keep the home in an outstanding condition. Dan was even on site fixing fallen over backyard sun umbrellas and dealing with security alarm issues when we were on vacation. They took care of the home like we would have taken care of the home!
Overall, Dan and his entire team have our unqualified recommendations. They were experts and complete professionals.
