The Braves Parking manager at Red Parking was rude and had no customer service skills on the way out of parking.
When we first got there no one was at the front parking ton guide you in so l took a ticket. Once l got pass the second row l saw a gentleman who advised parking was free just find a spot. I said, "cool thanks." I found a spot at the roof top and we got out our cars and walked to the stadium. The entrance staff moved us in fast and the food was great. Great customer service at the gates and at food counter and with elevator staff to give directions to our seats.
Braves won the game against Red Sox on 05/31/2025 Sat 415pm game to 640pm. We were happy about it. Finally, we got to our car around 7pm. We were stuck in Red Parking lot 1 hour and 30 minutes no one to move traffic out of decks which was not organized. Cars were trying to move but no staff to direct.
We finally got to the exit entrance and saw a young black female with braids, she said ,"$40." I informed her along with my friends that the guy earlier said, ,"free parking just find a spot." She got her manager to come over and he said, " free parking is only for two hours only, it's right here on the sign." I advised him l did not see it and no one was at entrance and the guy in deck said, free and nothing about the just two hours."
He said, ,"lts here to read.," l said , "ls there anyway we could bring the cash back?" He rudely said, "We don't do any l owe you here.," l said we waited in the deck l.5 hours in traffic to get out the deck parking lot and that's $40."I asked to speak with his supervisor.
He said, "lm the manager." l asked was anyone over him. He said , yeah everyone has somebody over them. He is at home and l am not going to call him today. This is ball day."
I said l have a few dollars and work for the state and will bring money back for parking. He said we don't take cash. Luckily, my friend found a card and paid, but the white manager on Red Lot Parking was so cold, rude with no customer service skills : He needs to work on his communication skills and they need to speak with staff about having someone out to direct traffic throughout red parking lot decks, so it will not take 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to exit to get out the deck charging $40 especially after customers have paid good money for food and tickets.
Solutions Maybe $20 standard fee for the event for parking and staff should not say free parking just find a spot. Get a more friendly manager. Get staff to direct traffic for cars out on each deck for safety and it will not be at stand still. We left the parking deck in shock but letting anyone know that parking will be ,$25per hour even though it has poor organization and no staff to direct cars out of decks floors on Red Parking Zone.,7 decks no one to direct traffic after game in is ridiculous and he is the manager.
We love our Braves but get Red Zone parking Manager replaced or communication training skills. Get some to direct traffic on all decks to help it run...
Read moreLet me break it down by the process of getting here, parking, civility, and food/drink. Atlanta as a whole has the worst road system in the nation. I've been in LA, Houston, Florida, Arizona, Las Vegas, and several other states. Hands down, whomever developed and continues to "engineer" the roads has no clue how to do anything other than continue to cause congestion & hazards to the ebb & flow of mass amounts of people moving. Do I bother mentioning all of the morons who continue voting against mass transit like the MARTA expanding so more people can continue to be employable as well as increases in revenue to businesses throughout the system? I guess I just did. So, getting to the Battery is stressful & annoying. Parking - it is a lemming party especially during game days or large events, good luck, you'll need it and at least $30 for parking. Civility - it is a plethora of people, but depending upon temperature, booze consumption, full moon, and if the Braves win or lose, there can be scuffling. Food - large selection for all pallets. I've tried none, because it's a little expensive. Alcohol - overpriced in the ballpark or Roxy. The beer selection is the same in every business as a part of their contract and it's awful. Lite, Coors Light, 2 Terrapin IPAs, and Yeungling Lager. 🤮 Basically the bottom of the beer keg for the worst distribution choices on the planet. This is Atlanta and we have many fantastic craft breweries we should be catering to not to mention local liquor & mead distillers, too. Tsk tsk corporate dinguses. Overall it's like another Mill Avenue in Tempe, AZ, it will flourish for a while, become stale, and it will die just like all corporate brand pushing environments as before them. I've never seen a ballpark or arena maintain it's quality beyond 2-3 decades and eventually becoming a skeleton of its former glory being abandoned and surrounded by destitution. Case in point is Turner Field and the surrounding area. Abandoned and sad. Enjoy this shiny consumer mecca while you can it won't last as long as progress to keep it local is being diminished by the...
Read moreThere's no need to be a baseball fan to have a good time here, but with Truist Stadium serving as the anchor for all the fun and Braves pride flapping from all the balconies here, I typically leave my Yankees cap at home when we come.
On game nights, the vibe is nearly electric here. Even without tickets, we were able to catch most of it from the big screen right outside the stadium, where lots of other fans collectively cheer the hits and home runs. Once, the mascot even made his rounds, giving exuberant high fives to fans all around. Summers are especially fun, with children (and daring adults) splashing around the water play area right by the green space. The entire area is open container, allowing the adult fun to spill out into the streets - within reason, of course.
Food, drink, and dessert options abound here. There's even an Asian food court, Ph'east a few blocks down from the stadium that provides all three. I especially appreciate how many parking structures there are in the area so that there's never reason to worry about finding a space (game days are an entirely different story, with ticket holders choking off traffic to the area both before and after the game).
For some adult fun, Punch Drink Bowl is a large game-based bar with a few bowling alleys, darts, and even a small karaoke room. There's also a dine-in movie theater, and an ever-rotating schedule of concerts and events at Live! at...
