This hotel was great! We arrived a day early of our booking because we had to be up early the next morning for work and had a long drive to get there. Didn't want to have to get up super early and drive, check into hotel, and make it to work all by 8am. Our room was already paid for by the company Mon-Thurs, so we thought we would get a room Sunday night and stay and pay for that night ourself. The lady at the front desk was super nice and accommodating (short, skinny black lady with bob length hair- I'm sorry, I don't remember your name). She said she was completely booked, but was able to get us a room anyway. We stayed in a 2 bed room that night, since it was only thing she could get us. The beds were super hard. No give at all, and we couldn't sleep good. The room was clean however, nice, and had a nice bathroom with tub on the 1st floor. Room 111. The next morning after my husband left for work, around 11am, the nice lady called my room and said the other room was ready, so I changed to the room that was booked for us. Actually, it was a handicap room (not sure why it was booked for that), but she put us in another room on the 1st floor with a King bed instead. Room 117. Upon opening the door and going inside, I immediately went back to the front desk and switched rooms because it REAKED of fresh cigarette smoke. 🚬 I can't handle smoke. It's a non-smoking room and someone smoked in there anyway. The room was cleaned, so if it wasn't a guest, it had to be whoever cleans the rooms because it was FRESH and about knocked me over with the smell. She apologized and kindly changed us to a room with a King bed on the 3rd floor. Room 308. Room was nice, acceptable, looked clean, bed was much softer (slept way better), had a walk in shower and nice bathroom and kitchen area with fridge, microwave and coffee. I was in the room the entire stay, except to go eat. My only complaints about that room was I saw 2 small black roach bugs. 1 on the door that I was unable to kill or take a pic of bc it scurried out the Crack, and 1 in the bathroom floor. This could have been the same one for all I know, but I killed it. I noticed that the next day of being in the room. The other would be that no one cleans behind anything so it gets dusty. Next, the air conditioner would NOT go off auto. It was annoying because it kept cutting on and off and if I was asleep it would wake me up. During the day if it was on 60, it would feel like 60 and get very cold in there and didnt cut off much, which we like. At night, it's like the hotel governs how low it goes, because it felt like it was in the 70s, hot, and constantly cut on and off. The display unit on the wall won't go past 65, the air conditioner won't go below 60 and both are connected together. Also, I tried to use the bottom drawers on the dresser and they would not open. Closed shut. Everyday I was kindly asked if I needed anything from house keeping and I changed out what I needed. The rooms seem very quiet. I hardly heard anyone from surrounding rooms unless it was someone going in or out of their room or house keeping cleaning, but I did hear a lot of LOUD traffic from IN the parking lot and the road behind the hotel all day from early morning until around 10pm, but wasn't too bad at all at night. The hotel has free breakfast, wifi, parking, and printer usage. Breakfast wasn't good at all and not much of a selection. I only tried it 2xs. I just ate what I kept in my room througout the day until dinner time when we went out to eat. Printer is little aggravating to use. I liked the fact that I could walk a very short distance to and from either Outback and Cracker Barrel Restaurants or take a short drive to surrounding ones. There are PLENTY of nearby restaurants and shopping and his work for the week was just a 6 min drive away. I was kindly allowed to stay till 1pm checkout instead of 12 since my husband couldnt leave work until 1 the day we left. Overall, the hotel is nice, staff is friendly, rooms are nice, and I would stay here again!

Ok so I stayed here on Saturday 9/20/25 till Sunday 9/21/25. Overall I'd give this hotel a 5 out of 10 , or 3 out of 5 . Before I go into detail I want to speak on a situation when I was checking in the woman in front of me was being kind of aggressive and rude to the young lady who I found out was named Shan apparently from what I overheard was the woman basically book through a third party and the hotel so basically she was booked for 4 rooms rather than two and she wouldn't listen or let Shan explain to her . I got there at 315 check in starts at 3 not sure what their shifts are like but if it was the start what a way to start . The front desk (Shan) kept her composure, kept trying to rectify and explain the woman just would not let her speak, Shan never frowned got loud anything a line starts to form so she kindly asked the woman could she step over and she'd get her a manager . She never broke professionalism and I applaud that and I over heard the lady as I was leaving admit to whomever she got on the phone with they had forgotten to cancel their reservation with the third party site so all that and she was wrong but on the off chance that Laquinta or choice reads this we often highlight bad things /service that young lady should be acknowledged even when I needed something extra she still had a smile hours later ! OK so the room .... if you're in need of a basic room not overly priced to sleep I'd suggest here. It is a decent price, and room . I will say that it needs a deep clean and remodel or upgrade , alot of the furnishings were rusted , the shower door was rusted the toilet made like a sound and shook which had me concerned the actual bathroom looked nice , nice big l.e.d. mirror and counter. There's a wall ac but it's just for show it didn't even have a display screen. There was an old school ac that didn't ever truly get could but cool . The pool had a tarp over it , the elevators were rusted had hair on the walls so I'm guessing maybe the cleaning crew didn't clean them there were tiles missing from the ceiling, the doors never looked even though they had the key entry to come in and out the building they never actually locked? šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø Breakfast was the typical stuff sausage, eggs gravy instant grits , bagels , muffins and juice I did notice that alot of the Breakfast ppl didn't seem to be hotel guest lol looked like locals n few truck drivers not knocking it actually applaud them for just letting the ppl eat rather than it be wasted. Like I said all in all very straightforward hotel no major issues does need some reno , upgrades, maybe a more efficient cleaning staff but if I had to recommend a decent hotel I would this one just for a basic night sleep or like my situation needed a room for an emergency situation.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Prior to arrival, I received a concerning phone call requesting that I unlock my credit card to secure my room, despite having pre-selected to pay at the property. That was the first red flag. Upon arrival, we discovered the bathtub in our room to be exceptionally dirty, a stark contrast to the positive cleanliness reviews I had read prior to booking. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take a nice hot shower. This unsanitary condition significantly impacted our comfort and enjoyment of the stay. While a member of your front desk staff took pictures of the bathtubĀ and told meĀ that management will be notified about the issue to getĀ a price reduction. Furthermore, disruptive barking noises were heard in our room.Ā At check, out a lady was at the front desk. I told her about the issues and she said that it’sĀ noted in the computerĀ and management will be in within the next hour or so and will give me a call. HoursĀ went by and I still didn’t receive a phone call from management. IĀ called the hotel and asked to speak to management.Ā The lady I spoke with over the phone said that she had just come in for work and that management will not be in until Monday. So I never got to speak with management. I now have to wait until Monday for a call if I do get a call. I find the lack of prompt communication and resolution regarding these serious issues unacceptable. The failure to offer an alternative room at the time only compounded our dissatisfaction. In summary, my experience at your hotel was severely unsatisfactory due to the pre-arrival card issue, the unclean room, the noise disturbance, and the lack of timely management response. Consequently, I will not be recommending your hotel to others and will not return for future stays. I look forward to a resolution regarding the price reduction.

Horrible customer service and the rooms and so-called hot breakfast are not as advertised. I could go on with numerous maintenance and sanitation issues. Needless to say, this is a below average hotel that does not deserve a rating.

This is in response to the manager's response to my complaints:

I will be contacting you, which I had intended to do before I read your response.

  1. The credit card issue is that my card was charged when I checked in at 8 PM that evening.. At 1:30 AM my sleep was interrupted by your auditor stating that my card was never swiped and wanted me to come down to rectify the issue. I objected initially but reluctantly got out of bed, dressed, and came down to your front desk to show on my telephone's Wellsfargo app that I had been indeed charged. She thanked me and offered me a possible free night's stay for my inconvenience, which would have resolved the inconvenience. My wife and I had to awaken at 5 AM that morning for an all day meeting.

The next evening I checked at the front desk to make sure that I would receive my free night compensation. I was informed that the matter was not resolved and that they needed to re-swipe my card and then give me a discount. Reluctantly, I agreed and expressed my objection and again showed the clerks that my card had been charged. They swiped my card adding an additional 3 charges!

  1. With regards to the breakfast, it consisted of bagels, muffins, and bread, and coffee. Nothing hot as we were told would be prepared.

  2. Maintenance issues that I did report were the loose sink faucet, scuff marks on the floor, and there was no iron in the room. The very nice young Lady who initially checked us in did bring us an iron. She was busy cleaning and doing numerous other chores which I mentioned to my wife seem to indicate that the hotel was understaffed. She was the only bright spot that I could find with our stay. I also mentioned our disenchantment to her in that she was busy as usual when she checked us out Monday morning, two days after our arrival.

Additional maintenance issues included loss of internet services. The desk clerk who swiped my card the second time responded to our complaint and came down to determine if I was using the correct login procedure, which I assured her I was prior to her coming to our room.

The problem was more extensive. I have a degree in computer science and recognized that this was symptomatic of a more serious problem. Ultimately she put me in contact with the IT person who kindly restored service to my laptop but was unable to bypass certain protocols for our other devices.

After our room was cleaned and we returned on the first day of our stay, my wife and I were overcome by a very strong and unpleasant odor from whatever was used for cleaning. Additionally, scuffs remained on the hardwood floors and used towels and washcloths were removed and no replacement towels and washcloths were replaced. Again, a night desk clerk, the same lady who attempted to repair our WiFi had to bringus a fresh supply of towels.

We were extremely relieved when we left for our next stop in Florence, SC where we stayed at the Residence Inn, Marriott. There we had a great night's sleep, beautiful suite, a complimentary manager reception that evening, a delicious hot complimentary breakfast and a wonderful and competent staff.

I will also fax or attach a copy of the screen shot that I took of all the charges that were made to...

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the quality of service I experienced during my recent stay at the La Quinta Inn located at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta in Conyers. Unfortunately, my stay was marred by a series of significant inconveniences and disappointments that I feel compelled to bring to your attention. First and foremost, upon checking into my room, I encountered an issue with the key card not working. This happened not once, but on three separate occasions. The inconvenience of having to return to the front desk multiple times after a long journey was highly frustrating and unacceptable. It is essential for a hotel to ensure that guests have seamless access to their rooms, and this experience fell far short of that expectation.

Furthermore, the condition of the room itself was unsatisfactory. In the second room I was given, the sheets on the bed next to the bathroom appeared to have been slept in. The rumpled and creased sheets clearly indicated that they had not been changed since the previous guest's departure. This lack of attention to detail and cleanliness is both unhygienic and unprofessional. I then decided to sleep in the bed closest to the window. To compound matters, the sheets on the alternative bed were found to be dirty, covered in hairs that clearly did not belong to me and makeup was on the sheets. This is simply unacceptable, as it suggests a lack of proper cleaning and preparation before assigning the room to a new guest. Clean and fresh bedding is a basic expectation for any hotel, and it was disappointing to see such a glaring oversight.

However, the most egregious incident occurred when I was finally assigned a room in which someone was already staying. The embarrassment and intrusion that ensued when I inadvertently walked into an occupied room was deeply distressing for myself. This lack of proper room management and double-booking is a fundamental failure that should never occur in a professional establishment like yours.

When I was assigned the 4th room, I inadvertently locked myself out of the room while making the switch. I went downstairs to get the key. I was surprised to learn from the security guard that the person working the front desk left in a car with his coworker and was NO LONGER on site, but should be back soon. I waited for about 30 minutes. By the time I got back to the room, it was after 1am.

In the morning I asked for a late check out to compensate for this extreme inconvenience and I was told the latest I would check out was 12 and anything after would cost me $25. I would like to further share that after I checked out, two of my friends checked in.

They experienced the following: Toilets that did not flush Mattress soaked in urine

I must emphasize that my experience at the La Quinta Inn has left me feeling extremely dissatisfied and inconvenienced. I had chosen your hotel with the expectation of a comfortable and pleasant stay, but instead, I was met with multiple instances of poor service, unclean accommodations, and a complete lack of professionalism.

I trust that you will give my concerns the attention they deserve and take prompt action to resolve these issues. It is my sincere hope that you will use this incident as an opportunity to improve your services and ensure that other guests do not have to endure similar experiences...
