I called and made an appointment for me and my fiance , came to our appointment the next day which was for 4pm, get there and they ask us to come back in 30 minutes which was really annoying & rubbed me the wrong way, I would have just not come back & went somewhere else if I didn’t need my nails done so bad. Our appointment was over $350 & that wasn’t including the tip we gave them and let me tell you I didn’t even get anything extravagant. I get it we’re in Coronado. But for the price they could be a little more professional. During my appointment they asked a few walk ins to come back , which they did and then still didn’t take them because they were backed up because of the mess up not putting our appointments in when I called the day before. Vibe was off.
Not even a week later one of my nails broke for no reason, then a few days later another one broke. Should not happen for the price we paid. I came back in and asked to have them fixed please and I’d pay for it. No customers were in there. She said she’s really busy & if I could come back . I looked at her and said “you’re really busy, no one is in here” she said she had a client at 11. So she had 20 minutes to fix my two nails. And honestly could have made that person wait 10 minutes if that be the case. She made us wait 30 minutes and we had an appointment the first time. Really ,really off putting. Super annoying for the price I paid & the treatment of paying customers. Not coming back & do not recommended this business if you value your...
Read moreI am always so disappointed when I come in here. The last time was over a year ago. Thought I'd give them another try. I went and had my nails done 1 week ago (Thursday August 24th). In the 1 week I have had 2 brand new nails lift off like they were held on by Elmer's glue. This morning I was scratching my knee and a brand new tip flew off. I went to get the first one fixed, which was 2 days after getting them done and the lady that helped me was on the phone talking the whole time (very unprofessional). Did not try to have any conversation with me. Put the wrong nail color on so now I have a mismatched nail. So that was disappointing. Then 2 days later I have another nail just lift off with no reason so I went in yesterday to get that one fixed. I was told by the lady that fixed my nail Monday that she won't help me because she didn't do my nails originally (on Thursday) the owner who did my nails was not in so I would need to come back a different day. This morning is when my tip flew off from me scratching my knee. I paid 65 dollars. It lasted less than 2 days. Also the quality of work is bad. My nails are bumpy and flat in areas. I'm just going to go somewhere else to fix them. If I could give no stars I would. I highly recommend people don't go to this salon. Also... the owner is forcing 5 star reviews. This is the worst nail salon...
Read moreFirst time going to this salon, and my first pedicure since covid hit.
The lady that did my pedicure was so sweet and did a great job on my nails. She really took the time to make sure I was comfortable and pleased.
Unfortunately the whole experience was ruined by the manager or owner as I waited for the nails to dry. She came over and told me I had to go, ripped (I am not exaggerating) the paper off my toes and threw it on the floor, grabbed my sandals and also threw them on the ground and in a very demeaning manner told me my nails were dry and I had to go. I have never been thrown out of anywhere in my life. I was tired and all this happened so fast I was startled, and just paid and tipped the lady that did my nails and left.
I really feel so bad for the ladies that work there, I can't imagine hving to deal with that kind of boss, day in and day out. If she is treating me (customer) like this, I can only imagine the way she is treating her workers.
Maybe her not wanting me to wait a few minutes for the nails to dry is covid related, BUT the way and manner it was done was inexcusable. Not...
