Dallas Theater Center — Attraction in Dallas

DINO LIGHT SHOW. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I can not express in enough words what my family and I felt watching this show today. I purchased tickets last year just by the thought of being a kids show, with things that my 8y son liked: dinosaurs, lights and entertainment. And today I confirm I was glad about this choice. It was joyfull to see my son's face during the whole show. But my husbands and I also enjoyed it. We danced, laughed and my son and I cried with the ending. Also it was a great idea that last quick talk about how you made your own equipment and to get the kids out of the tablets and keep connecting them with the human things. Keep doing what you love because we, the audience, noticed and felt the that love you have for your job and you are doing great. 100%...

Last night we attended A Christmas Carol. It is a totally immersive theatre experience. We had fourth row center seats, which were phenomenal. The actors enter from all around you and they are literally feet away from the audience. Some license is taken with the original book, but it enhances the experience. Marley’s ghost’s appearance literally made me jump out of my seat. The incorporation of traditional English carols helps the plot move forward. They were pitch perfect selections. The casting is perfect. There aren’t enough superlatives for this show. My party of four cannot wait to go back. Treat yourself, it is one of the best theatre...

My 15yo and 17yo attended a play tonight with their high school theater group. Unfortunately, one of the cashiers took the opportunity to tip herself while the teens were in her line at the concessions counter. The cashier waited for the teens to put their debit cards in, then flipped the screen around, tipped herself, and didn't give them their receipts. The cashier did the same thing to both of my teens. Luckily, my 15yo realized the problem because after the play she checked her account and saw a debit for $5, instead of the $3 that she authorized. My 17yo noticed a similar overpayment when she checked her account...
