Playhouse Dallas — Attraction in Dallas

Don’t even know where to start, Absolutely disturbed by the Professionalnism of this after hours Establishment. Never have I ever felt mislead. I’m am visiting from Ga. I came down to visit my bestfriend who recently moved to Dallas. I stayed at Mariott Dallas Uptown, after hanging out Friday night I ran into a few fellas leaving this Establishment playhouse, I was very intrigued as I’m a person who enjoys good vibes and traveling and partying all night. I was told good things by a patron Friday after they closed. I decided to tell my bestfriend who just moved here as this is the type environment he likes. So we decided to come Saturday night 8-16-25. After standing in line forever we reached the front door to be Greeted by 2 veryyyy Rude Security guards with Attitudes to inform me it was $50 to get in for males. Kool No problem understood. I asked a couple questions and was ignored by the same security staff and not given a direct answer. My friend wanted to leave but I know this is his forte to having fun, I paid the 100 bucks for entry only to be told after running my card that it’s gonna have to be run for 20 more cause he had in shorts. I advised him that’s ok we don’t wanna stay anymore. He said your money gone and you can either stay or loose the 100. Very unfair very unprofessional for an out of towner. My friend who moved here was very upset and wanted to go, but the gentlemen were so rude and disrespectful I felt if I spent that much I’ll just pay 20 more. He ran my card again and said go or leave very unprofessional. Also stated he gonna get kicked out anyways for shorts after I payed. After walking in I asked to speak to the manager or owner and was denied. If this is how places do business this world is falling apart. The. After walking in I was advised it’s $500 a botttle if wanna drink for a bottle cause the bar is closed. I’m very disturbed and disappointed. I don’t ever leave reviews, EVER BUT THIS PLACE RIGHT HERE! Would leave 0 stars if I could, place is just Terrible, paid 40 a person to get in then get kicked out within 20min 🤣🤣 don’t come here I promise the so called security are VERY biased. I was standing in the same spot as everyone else but security kicks us out for what. Hit my in the face and then carried her out for standing in the way is kinda crazy. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the valet staff at PLAYHOUSE. When I arrived, two attendants initially told me the valet was full. However, I saw a car leaving, so I went back to check if a spot might have opened. This time, a big male attendant responded to me in an extremely rude and aggressive manner. He repeatedly yelled at me, saying I’d already been told there was no space, and became visibly angry when I tried to explain my question. His behavior was so intense that I felt genuinely unsafe and considered calling 911.
