Be aware if ordering gift baskets.... My sister who lives out of state purchased a $100 gift card for my 89-year-old mother for Mother's Day .. I physically took her in there today (which was not an easy task for her) to pick out some wine for her gift basket ... she told them the kind of wine she was looking for... they couldn't make it immediately, so they said they would put something together... I came back later to pick it up for her... Once she opened it at home I realized half of the items in the basket were from Aldi, and the 2 wine bottles were cheap brand wine, worth about $12 the price of each. Really? You wouldn't pick out a better selection for us? I am shocked that Such a reputable wine bar, would not care enough to put together a nice and true $100 gift basket. Especially when you come in person and speak directly to the owner and manager, it is incredibly disappointing. Maybe they saw my mom and thought she wouldn't notice, but she did. I asked wete the picked peppers, the giant capers and other pickled stuff that they USED to offer were, along with the slices of cheddar and Swiss...they wetr all a no show. I was told that they were ALL OUT! Yet, they served a substandard POS worth $5.00 and all we got was: we are sorry, we ate out of the elements that constitute a Charcutery....oh yea, no salami eother....I will never order food to jg ere AGAIN! ALSO, take a look at their food prices, they think they are Shula's ....ridiculous. Needless to say, we returned the $35 CRACKER, 6 GRARES AND 6 OLIVES.....DON'T EVET ORDER FOOD...
Read moreI have been here several times and always enjoyed myself! But I recently went there with my parents and a few of their friends for some wine and appetizers. It was a weekday around 5/5:30 and the girl who waited on us (who was rude)had on a very small tank top and basically boy shorts. As I looked around all the waitresses had basically the same thing on, which would be fine for a bar or club or a wing place but not here. It was very uncomfortable and I don’t know why there isn’t some sort of basic uniform because I don’t ever remember the waitresses being dressed like that. I don’t think I will be back and I know my parents won’t or any of their friends. Hopefully the owners or management will realize it’s inappropriate and bring some class back...
