Our group visited Monday evening. We made a reservation (only 3 people), so we approached the front desk, and was immediately met with attitude from the Hostess. I figured it was a one off, but I was wrong. We waited half an hour after our reservation time for the server to ask us for our drinks. One of our bread plates was visibly dirty, brought it to someone’s attention and was told that they couldn’t do anything as they weren’t our server but they would bring it to his attention. The plate was never switched out. We ordered a few appetizers and immediately our menus were taken from us. After we got the appetizers, we waited another HALF AN HOUR for the server to come back. We asked for our menus back, and he brought back a single menu. Fine, we share a menu, a little inconvenient but not a big deal. 20 minutes later the waiter has served all of the tables around us. We flag him down and tell him we are ready to order. He says he’ll return in a few minutes, I understand. 30 MINUTES LATER he returns. We didn’t even order any entrees and decide to just get some cheesecake. He gave us the option to take it to go immediately, it felt like he wanted us out, which was odd, but we took him up on it. He returns about ten minutes later with the check, we put the card in and ten minutes later he grabs it. We wait ten more minutes for him to bring the card back. Overall it was an awful experience, purely from the service. The food was fantastic, but for the restaurant being incredibly slow (maybe 5 other groups in our section), the service was unacceptable. I’ve never had a more negative experience with staff, and I pride myself on being understanding of staffing issues, but this was a different level. Every interaction with him made us feel as though we were an inconvenience, and he made very passive aggressive remarks in every interaction we had with him. He offered no apology to any wait time and didn’t acknowledge it at all. I’m unsure if I will ever return after my experience, so I would recommend ordering to-go, or perhaps asking for a manager after waiting for half an hour the second time it happens, something I wish I...
Read moreDear Cheesecake Factory Team,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent experience at your restaurant. The purpose of this letter is to highlight the significant frustrations I encountered due to the extremely slow service I experienced during my visit.
On July 19th 2024, my family and I visited your establishment with high expectations of enjoying a delicious meal and quality service. However, from the moment we arrived, our patience was put to the test.
The initial wait to be greeted and seated was excessively long, despite noticing that there were available tables. Once seated, the time elapsed before a server approached with menus was surprisingly lengthy. Even more frustrating was the delay in taking our drink and food orders. It seemed that every step of the service, from order-taking to food delivery, was marked by long waits and a lack of clear communication about wait times.
I understand that restaurants can experience moments of high demand and operational challenges. However, the slowness of service we experienced was beyond reasonable and significantly impacted our overall experience at your restaurant. The initial anticipation of enjoying the food and ambiance of The Cheesecake Factory was considerably overshadowed by these circumstances.
As a frequent customer of The Cheesecake Factory, I expect much more from your establishment in terms of customer service and operational efficiency. I trust that, as a brand known for its quality and variety, you will take immediate steps to address these issues and improve the experience for your customers.
I suggest considering measures such as workflow optimization, enhancing staff training to handle peak periods, and implementing technological systems that can streamline order-taking and internal communication.
I sincerely hope that my complaint is taken seriously and that corrective actions are promptly taken to ensure that future customers do not encounter the same frustrations as we did. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to receiving a timely response.
But thank you for the...
Read moreThe cheesecake factory.... The. CHEESECAKE. factory. While the cheesecake wasn't the worst of the meal I can get better at the grocery store. The original cheesecake basically tastes like you're just eating a block of cream cheese. And I should have known better because it came out like a block of cream cheese too. Horrible. And as I mentioned above, it still wasn't the worst part of the meal. Looking at this giant menu I got kind of excited but, in the end, all it did was leave room to do nothing well. How can y'all not even do french fries well? Along with fries we ordered crab cheese wontons. First of all those things are so fishy, I don't think I've ever had crab so fishy and there is absolutely no cream cheese in there, they must have used it all in the cheesecake 🤣 Those wontons are just fishy onion bombs. Ew. I ordered a club, I have no clue how they got bread so hard without burning it. I'm literally still sitting here with the most dumbfounded look on my face still trying to figure out how they gave me bread that ripped my whole mouth apart and yet it wasn't burnt... My cocktail, while pretty had no potency. If they had actually made a decent drink maybe I wouldn't have noticef the food was so bad. The only reason I'm not giving a one star is because the service was decent. All those kids are working very hard and I'm sure it's not the easiest considering the quality of the food. We visited this past weekend on the Saturday before mother's Day. We were a group of seven. Not at any point did I hear anybody say "Wow, this tastes good or we should come here again!" It was more like " ehhhh it's ok" or "nope!". The fact that y'all charge so much for such mediocre food is... I don't want to say a travesty but it's definitely whack 😂 $70 for a whole cheesecake?!?! When all y'all did was take some cream cheese and put it on a graham cracker....
