What goes on in this large office building? Why so much infrastructure to authorize the printing of money? Do they print money here? No, that is done at the mint. The federal reserve is a private company that rips off the american people. All money issued has debt attached to it. All the cash in the US could not pay off all the debt that exists. This is a scam. Use credit unions and cypto currencies. They can not stop the obvious progress of blockchain and hashgraph technology. We now have a way to free ourselves of this debt driven financial system. Fractional reserve lending is a scam that results in devalued money, everytime.
“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks…will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered…. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.” – Thomas Jefferson in the debate over the Re-charter of the Bank Bill (1809)
“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.” –Thomas Jefferson
“… The modern theory of the perpetuation of debt has drenched the earth with blood, and crushed its inhabitants under burdens ever accumulating.” -Thomas Jefferson
“History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling money and its issuance.”...
Read moreI love museums and had seen the "Money Museum" banner from the 16th street mall more times than I could count, so I was so excited to finally be able to visit. After providing identification and going through security (this is the Federal Reserve after all) I walked around the first floor for a few minutes because the woman at the desk was busy talking to a tourist. When she freed up I asked for a map to the museum, excited to get started. She looked at my blankly, and then laughed. I asked again, and she pointed to the small area I had briefly walked through while waiting to talk to her. "Thats it." She laughed as she sat back down. So...I slowly went through each of the "exhibits" read everything, got some paper and did the metal rubbing activity...and then left. If you have adolescent children, this could be a nice activity to break up your visit to the 16th mall, but to call it a "Museum" is rather generous. You'll likely spend anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes (that is if you need to read/explain to your children.) For adults on their own, you can skip it, unless you really want a free take home small bag of shredded money to prove...
Read moreI work for a company that takes adults with disabilities into the community. I had a group of 3 gentlemen today and they wanted to go do the free tour. We walked in and were poorly greeted by the Security there asked for either a Passport or Driver's License. I explained that the Adults in my group only have State Id's and Photo Id's with their identification and picture on it. We were rudely told to leave. I walked out and called the Main office here and talked to a gentleman in Customer Service and explained everything as above. He put me on hold, came back and said that shouldn't be a problem and that they are more than happy to work with that community. I thanked him and we headed back in with our ID's out. I told the Security guard that we had called and should be allowed entry with the ID's we had. He became very aggressive and in my face demanding who I talked to and that nobody tells them what to do and the Denver number I called was in Florida. He would not let us in. So we left. Extremely rude service and very...
