Two days ago, I got caught up in a social whirlwind and found myself a long walk from my car with an empty stomach and a need for speed, and there was Jamba Juice. I ordered and stood in line as at least half a dozen customers who ordered after me got their drinks before me. I entered the store in a good mood and left in a frenzied panic because I didn't know if or when I was going to get my purchase or if I should ask for my money back or just leave so that I wouldn't be late for the rest of my day. The system should be streamlined: First In = First Out. I understand if one drink takes longer than another, but that was a little ridiculous. It's not really an issue of being 5 minutes late so much as an issue of being 5 minutes in complete limbo, uncertain about whether I should take some course of action or just keep waiting. I don't think I will take any chances at that...
Read moreThis is by far the #1 juice and smoothie spot in downtown Denver and my go-to place after trying out all of the downtown Denver juice venues. I have been juicing since mid-February and have frequented the Juice Kitchen ever since discovering this gem (multiple visits a week most weeks). The prices are reasonable (great value for what you get) and the produce is of excellent quality.. A good selection of healthy food is offered as well (haven't tried the food yet but have received rave reviews from friends). Jamey and the rest of the crew at the Juice Kitchen are terrific - very efficient and friendly; I'm proud to support such an incredible local business with an amazing team! Be sure to pick up a punch card when there since I'm sure you'll wind up...
Read moreI recently tried the cheesesteak at Juice Shop, and I have to say, I was really disappointed. I ordered what I thought would be a satisfying meal, but when it arrived, I was shocked to find that it was only a 6-inch sandwich for a steep price of $21.
For that amount, I expected a hearty and filling cheesesteak, but instead, I got a small serving that left me feeling hungry. The flavor was average at best, and it certainly didn’t stand out in any way that would justify the price. I’ve had much better cheesesteaks at other places for a fraction of the cost.
Overall, this experience felt like a rip-off, and I can’t recommend the cheesesteak at Juice Shop. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better value and a more...
