Shoe Fly — Attraction in Homestead

It’s been about 2 months since my life-changing visit. First, the requesting an appointment online does not work. However, out of desperation, I visited the ShoeFly store in Homestead, PA. After explaining to Jack how my ankle rolls inward (& he already seemed to notice) and how I have issues walking very far without pain, Jack took me to the Aetrex machine to show my pressure points. He measured both feet, chose the correct orthotic, and brought out a few different shoes to try. He patiently explained the differences & had me walk around the store to test the shoes & the orthotics. It was the first time I could balance on my “bad” ankle in a year! I chose a pair of Hokas; my wide, flat feet were so happy! Jack explained the process to “get used to” the orthotics—without being preachy—which I appreciate. Loved New Balance shoes for most of my Nursing career. When the Wexford Pa store opened I walked in hoping to purchase the reliable style I wore in the past. Unfortunately an eager sales person diagnosed that the style I wanted( now on the clearance rack) wasn't really "right" for me with my "sore feet" and history of plantar fasciitis, $230 later I had 2 pair of a new style. Currently Im experiencing the worst flair up of foot pain in my life! I limped the shoes back into the store with receipt only to be offered 10% off my purchase of the shoes I originally wanted. I spent more than that Advil....

Excellent costumer service. I went there yesterday because I had extremely feet pain, after my dog chewed my plantar fasciitis insoles and was wearing regular shoes for a few days. I couldn't take the pain any longer so went there to find comfortable shoes to wear to work (retail) and perhaps alleviate my pain. I was greet by an older gentleman don't know his name but he help me find the right shoe. Was very kind and knowledgeable. Try a few pairs. My feet felt so much better instantly. I can't thank them enough. He also recommended socks and got a pair too. I will be back to get another...
