Small kine weird setup. And parking is nuts! I no think all those cars are from people shopping here. Could be the construction workers across, bussing ground, parking they cars over there or something. Anyways, I think they say this one new concept, but more like one indoor swap meet/maunakea market or like a pop-up shop style of the old Ward Warehouse. Basically cause I when notice all the vendors are local people. Which is good. Even get HI-Finest!! I think what would be cool if they when bring in some headliners to draw people in. But no ask me. I not the sharpest buttah knife in the drawer. Lol
The layout seems a little kapakahi with the setup of the vendors and all the food guys aren’t in one area, but that’s just me..... and having that security braddah in the front, seems like one bouncer at one club. Like, ho, easy tickstah.
The vendors are super nice though. I would give them all five stars, but couldn’t find them in Yelp or Google reviews, so had to write em out over here. Much aloha from all of them, but you can tell something not right. There’s an old proverb that says, “the eyes is the window to the soul”, I think some braddah name David said it, anyways.. I know there’s a season for everything. Something my man, Solomon would have said. So, I only wish you guys the best, and hope for everything to work out in the near future. Maybe I come by, visit you buggahs...
Read moreOhana Hale Marketplace brings an exuberant yet nostalgic residue whenever I make contact with Jay, at her beautiful Cafe.
This place is one of those that if you HAVEN'T HAD, you HAVEN'T lived!
Jay's Cafe's Spicy Tuna Bowl (Spicy Ahi Bowl) provides the perfect blend of spicy, sweet, tangy, and pure joy with every bowl.
Whether it's a small or a large (which I prefer, even if you are prepping for a comp), your tastebuds will thank you for every second.
As one Hawaiian native, I fell in love with this place the first time they had opened up shop in Liliha. And after joining the United States Marine Corps, this was literally the first place I'd have to go after returning back to the homestead grounds of Oahu.
So......hopefully you get the chance to enjoy it as...
Read moreTo be honest the first time I went there I kind of liked that place but then when I went back I started seeing the dark side. There is a federal law called the Sherman antitrust act which means price fixing is illegal. But two weeks ago when I went there you can buy face mask $4 $5 or $6 now every vendor has the same price you buy four for 20 or one for six. Before you could return but now they spend all their time barking you to making sure you understand all sales final!!!!! This is clearly a violation of the Sherman antitrust act it's called price fixing and it's illegal and because of that I've lost interest in this place. I recommend you go to Chinatown the prices are cheaper maybe not the nicest people but the prices are cheaper Chinatown that's...
