Izumi and Saori did such an amazing job on me and my mom and my girlfriends. I met with Izumi a few days before the wedding for trial. She was super nice and also very accommodating. She continually asked for my opinion and my thoughts on the hair and makeup during the whole process. I wasn’t sure which hairstyle I wanted to go with but she took the time to try both out so I could make my final decision. She also followed up with me the next day of my trial to see if my makeup stayed on and if we need to make any adjustments for the big day. On the big day, we had a lot of my friends getting their hair and makeup done by Izumi and Saori. They came super early in order to get everyone’s hair and makeup done on time. All the girls looked great and all my girlfriends were satisfied with their hair and makeup that day. My mom looked so gorgeous that day as well thanks to Saori. My makeup and hair turned out even better than the trial day. I wanted to look pretty but not look so unnatural. Izumi nailed it exactly how I imagined it. My fiancé (now husband) loved my hair and makeup that day as well (he is a brutally honest guy so I trust what he says lol). I typically don’t write reviews , but I had to take the time to do this one . My family was in Hawaii for vacation where I wanted to reveal to my son that I was pregnant and he was having a sister . I was referred to Izumi by my concierge. I looked at the IG page and decided to go with her . Let me tell you she was so sweet and kinds and super professional. As she was doing my makeup she wanted to make sure I loved every step of the way . I’m from Philadelphia and can be very particular about my makeup . Her talent and skill is unmatched. I was surprised honestly and being a woman of color it was important to have a good foundation match . My skin looked flawless and my makeup was even more impeccable. She had such a soft touch and made me look amazing . My husband even complimented me and he does not care for makeup . Izumi also did my hair and it was exactly like my picture. She is so amazing and truly had a natural talent . I can’t wait to come back so she can do my hair and makeup again ....

I can’t recommend Izumi enough! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding day, and she was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure my hair was set for the windy weather, and I really appreciated the little touch-up bag she gave me—it was such a thoughtful detail, and I actually ended up needing some of the items.

She arrived early and finished ahead of schedule, which was perfect because I got to my destination with plenty of time to spare. The whole experience with her was just so fun—we talked, laughed, and honestly, it felt like having my best friend doing my makeup. She completely nailed the look I wanted, and somehow, it turned out even better than the photos I showed her.
