Read moreCreekside Ave cuts through the mall and divides it into several smaller strip malls and a Multiplex theater on one side and some big stores and a smaller strip mall on the other side. Completely missed opportunity to create a walk-able shopping mall. It is impossible to safely walk through the big parking lots (without any walkways) to get to a restaurant after the movie or go shopping while waiting on a movie. Not connecting both sides of the road, not even cross walks, is an issue and even the smaller strip malls are broken up by roads not offering a walkway. Bad urban planning. Instead of creating synergy between stores you have to get in your car driving from shop to shop. Nicely maintained mall and several quality shops. Still, I am fearing for my life whenever I go because of distracted drivers that are speeding through parking lots and have no clue how to behave in...

It neighbors the other Hoover Ghost Mall, the Riverchase Galleria, which has been overtaken by the Summit for higher-end retail. Hoover needs a real plan for both malls before they have Century Plaza Part 2 to contend with. Said with love for both malls and the memory of...
