I will be direct and honest. I was in the midst of writing a review rather a response to the owner one that was so long that my phone actually cut out. To be entirely honest one the owner is a reprehensible individual. He’s amoral, has little concept of truth, and from what I can tell suffers from what I believe to be some sort of recurring behavior resembling intoxication, I will give several clear examples. Last week spontaneously called and asked that I come in on Tuesday at 11 AM rather than my regularly scheduled Wednesday 10 AM appointment . I would like to highlight, but I have been coming in on Wednesdays at 10 AM for the last six months without fail again this week spontaneously one asked that I come in on Tuesday in a phone call that he made Tuesday morning not long before he expected me to show up , I generally try to be courteous to senior citizens and wand. Didn’t seem to be doing particularly well this morning for reasons I would rather not speculate on, but I told him that I would make every effort to be there at the time he demanded I would like to highlight , during this interaction, one was somewhat belligerent, unclear, and could not quite communicate why exactly he was calling me. Furthermore, one frequently boast about his time as a respected member of the US infantry well I have a few comments on that subject. It certainly is nothing he should be proud of , the type of leader, at least in his present state, especially if you ask anyone of his employees that would easily get flagged as as soon as he took just a few steps from his subordinates. I can attest to this. because one of his most sincere critics is his son who takes his place upfront on some mornings when Juan is in capable of making it into work . I generally try not to judge, but I want to be clear. It is my opinion that Juan is an immoral, reprehensible, greedy, abusive, and very manipulative individual he has a host of young talented barbers working for him, and rather than paying them a fair wage, he scares them into believing that no one else would hire them because they are either too young or they look “”unsuitable for such a workplace. One has one objective it is greed and nothing else. Finally, I would like to mention that karma comes back to all of us now I don’t want to speculate on extracurricular activities outside of work, but it’s quite clear that he’s unaware , who his clients are his barbershops I know for a fact that not a single one of Juan‘s barbers sign a noncompete agreement, every single one of them is extremely talented and any other Barbershop would be lucky to have them. I will personally make it a project of mine to find better positions for everyone in both of his salons or barbershops rather his behavior is inexcusable, intolerable, and simply immortal to be blunt. I strongly dislike bad people one is simply a bad person for lack of a better explanation. I’m interested to see how Juan responds to this very honest review and see how he can go about explaining just how much everyone his son included that draws the salary from him detest him. I don’t say this to be rude. I say this because it is factual reading this exactly what kind of person he is. finally I would like to stress that my barber Adan was great. he provided one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a barbershop. This is in spite of all of Juan’s interference at every step tried to charge an overcharge for every service that was performed, as well as for services that were not performed. I have a strong feeling that I will be seeing ADAN again, and I will personally take the time to connect the gentleman at his barbershops with individuals that will offer them fair and better opportunities. One I’m interested to see how you will respond to this. . The owner Juan is both a terribke human being and a modern day slave owner. i am boycotting this business, not because of the amazing barbers, but because of the owner Whose greed prevails...

Unsatisfactory to say the least. Was promised to one barber whom I was told works with curly hair, this did not happen. We got a barber named Jay. Never going to use him again. Tore through my sons curly hair. Rough unprofessional attitude when asked to fix the bulk that his hair still had. I was then told by Jay “ Well he had a lot of hair.” At which time I told him, “Yes I know that’s why we are here.” When I brought up changing it or fixing it he did not want to do it stating he gave my children what they asked for, looking at me like I was the problem. No sir, uneven hair on one side compared to the other is the problem. My other son (not curly hair) didn’t even look like he got a hair cut at all. He trimmed both their hair and charged me like he did something that I wanted done. If I am paying it had to be done to my specifications. Not all services were performed either, for example no hot towel service and any of the other services I was told that came with the cut. Additionally, I was charged more than I was told I would be and when I mentioned this I was told price was set by the barber. I no longer trust this barber shop and will not be coming back. My review is based on my experience. Sadly, I did not trust them to fix the lack of skilled “haircut” my sons got from Jay. I’d like a manager to contact me and reach out to at least understand why this happened. Not sure if I will get that, but the service and cut was atrocious and not worth the $110 I was bullied into paying. Policy is to leave a credit card, I was told that in order to make an appointment I would have to leave a credit card card on file. ...

I had a terrible experience because I wasn’t even supposed to have an appointment with Joe. I had a scheduled appointment with Josh at 815, but when I showed up for said appointment. He said that he had just started on someone at 810 and wouldn’t be done for 20 minutes. This was very upsetting because I had already been asked the day before to push back my appointment to 815 from 745 the day before due to issues that the business and the barber were at fault for. To still “accommodate” me Josh offered up different barbers who could cut my hair at the moment. I was not allowing this business or anyone else associated with this business to waste any more of my time I reluctantly agreed to one of the substitutions offered. When the person who I believe is called Joe came from the back, he had wet hands and just looked discombobulated. The cut that I received was subpar when compared to the price paid. This is another reason I booked with Josh he only charged me $25.00 for my cut last time. I’m assuming because the cut I request is straightforward, but this substitution charged me 45.00. Which we both know was not earned or deserved, but was done solely cause of greed. Now I will concede that I booked the service for $45.00 due to this being the least inexpensive offering, but it is apparent that the price is subject to change based on the discretion of the barber as noted above. Lastly, I no longer will be booking with this establishment or any of its associations for the reasons that the services rendered are not equivalent to the price listed and the lack of professionalism & competence of...
