Jersey Jet Ski (NYC Location) — Attraction in Jersey City

Hands down the most dishonest, incompetent company I have ever given money to. We paid for the picture package, the guide snapped a few pictures of us with his iPhone while we were on the water which felt pretty low effort to me for a paid add-on but whatever. We get back to the office, he tried to airdrop the photos to my phone and it says that they went through but we never got them. After we left, we realized they weren’t in my gallery so I called the office to explain what happened and I was told they would be sent again right away. They never were. I called again the next day, spoke to a different person and was told yet again that the pictures would be sent right away. They never were. This process repeated a total of four times before we were eventually told that they’ve been having “issues” with their phones and that they’ve were trying to “recover” our photos. Excuse me? This is now day five and now you tell me you never even had photos to send us? And now all of a sudden we hear for the first time that they knew of an issue with the guide’s cell phone and still allowed him to use it to take our pictures ? Completely unacceptable. They lied, led us on and gaslighted us the entire time about photos that were never coming just to string us along when they had no intentions of ever following through. Also, the conditions of their office were dirty and not welcoming at all. The bathroom was a complete disaster including a toilet seat that wasn’t even attached to the bowl and would have been a real safety hazard if someone had mistakenly tried to sit down on it. All in all, don’t give your money to this company of thieves, liars and incompetents. What was supposed to be a fun birthday present for my wife instead turned into a week of frustrating phone calls, half truths and straight up lies. I have never encountered such a dishonest and scammy company in my entire life. Really unbelievable experience here, rent your jet...

Update: please understand that writing a honest review of my experience is not attacking a business. However I’ll make sure to give you guys a call to discuss because the response feels little aggressive from a business. Im not one to write reviews too often and am pretty understanding as I do a ton of excursions and understand things happen. I called you guys twice prior to the reservation and no type of 30-40min safety was explained. I was also in a rush to leave because as mentioned it took longer than expected and had other plans and was already overwhelmed. And apologies for making a review “15 days later”. I’ve literally been in the middle of move since then and have not had a chance.

ORIGINAL: Came here for my boyfriend’s birthday on 9/4 and had high expectations from the reviews. My reservation was for 10:50-11:50am for a 1 hour tour. I also made sure to call and ask if we had to be there early for set up. They told me to arrive 10 min early. We did just that and ended up waiting over an hour to get on the water. Apparently we had to wait for another couple which was extremely annoying. We actually got on the jet ski around 11:55am (which should’ve been the end time), and then actually finished around 1. Did not expect to be there for almost 3 hours and it sadly took a chunk out of my days plans.

Also our tour guide didn’t say one word or smile at us. He looked miserable and was vaping during the jet ski ride.

Lastly I paid for a video and photo package and only got photo. So I basically paid more for nothing.

I recently had the most exhilarating experience with Jersey Jet Ski, and I can't recommend them enough! Located right in the heart of New Jersey, their launch point offers stunning views of the Statue of Liberty, making for an unforgettable backdrop as you zip across the water.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. My guide, Justin, was fantastic—knowledgeable and enthusiastic, he made sure i were all set for a safe and thrilling ride. He provided ne with all the necessary safety gear and a thorough briefing on how to operate the jet skis. The equipment was top-notch—well-maintained and super fast, which made for an adrenaline-pumping experience.

Once i were out on the water, the thrill of jet skiing was amplified by the breathtaking views of the New York skyline and the iconic Statue of Liberty. It's truly a unique perspective that you won't get anywhere else. The experience of weaving through the waves with the wind in your hair and the city in the background is something I'll cherish forever.

Jersey Jet Ski also allows you to explore various routes, giving you the freedom to create your adventure. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, there’s something for everyone. I felt safe and supported throughout the entire experience, thanks in no small part to Justin's guidance, which made it all the more enjoyable.
