So, I popped into TIVOL Jewelry in KC, and guess what? It's not just a store; it's like a watch enthusiast's playground. I’m really into watches, like, really into them. The mechanics, the details – you get the gist. And TIVOL? They’ve got the good stuff: Patek, Panerai, Rolex, Cartier – like a watch buffet, and I was ready to feast. Now, let's get real – shopping can be thirsty work. But TIVOL’s got it sorted with a solid lineup of drinks and chocolates and like a side cafe on the inside. . It’s like they know that a little sugar and caffeine can make deciding between a Rolex and a Cartier that much easier. And the bathrooms – yes, I'm going there. They were so nice, I actually took a picture. Who does that? Apparently, me at TIVOL. IF they are thinking of details, like mouthwash, and bigscreens in the bathroom what are they doing if I buy from them? The real MVPs of the day were Dom and Lisa. Dom’s been around for 20 years, and it shows – the guy knows his stuff. He spent more than an hour with us. And Lisa? She somehow connected my local SLC watch purchase to Bruno at OC TANNER. Small world, right? The whole store oozes this family vibe, which is cool considering it’s been around for over 100 years and is still family-owned. That’s as impressive as much. The inside of the place is laid back but classy – no over-the-top bling or pressure. They're all about sharing their watch wisdom, jewelry etc. which I totally dug. It's not every day you find folks who want to spend time schooling you on luxury timepieces without watching the clock. This was a great experience just being with these great folks. In a nutshell, TIVOL is where it’s at if you’re into watches and in KC. The staff, especially Dom and Susan, are like your friendly neighborhood watch gurus. The whole experience is rare – like finding that one watch that just clicks. Would I go back? In a heartbeat. It’s not just about checking out watches; it's about feeling like part of the club. It was about the education and great expertise. The experience was wonderful because of the people. Plus, I might need another peek at those fancy bathrooms.

I enjoyed stopping by TIVOL this past weekend. I was assisted by Gary who was very courteous and helpful in my pursuit of a Rolex timepiece. Great conversation and shopping experience discussing our mutual passion for quality timepieces. Looking forward to future visits to the store!

Today I met this extremely nice woman named Lisa at tivol, and it honestly made my whole day. She instantly walked up to us to help me and my friend went looking to buy a watch and I think she knew that when she saw us but still helped. She saw that we loved watches and she let me and my friend Harper try on some insane watches — like Rolex, Cartier, and a bunch of other big-name brands. It was the first time anyone had ever let me get that close to watches like that, and it meant a lot. It has always been a dream of mine to see watches like this because one day I will own a collection of my own (definitely buying it’s from her) Lisa wasn’t just cool about the watches, though — she was super easy to talk to. We ended up having a full conversation about everything from what schools we go to, how we got into watches, what we want to do in life, and even about her daughter. (1 hours later) She had such a genuine vibe, like someone you randomly meet but don’t forget. Just a really good person who made us feel welcome at a place it I know I can’t afford anything their yet. She was actually a cool ass person like I will definitely come back in a month to talk.

My partner and I were on vacation, I wanted to surprise them with a special ring. We were walking by the store when we saw a police officer at the entrance and I wondered why. As we continued to walk, I saw Rolex watches displayed on the window. I put two and two together and I figured why the officer was there. I told my partner I wanted to go in, see the Rolexes because I had never seen one in person and I I'd like to see one, plus I could probably find my gift for them. When we entered the establishment, we were greeted by the receptionist lady who had a very square face. We greeted back. My partner and I went back to the watches that were display only. We started looking and talking about them. We were then were approached by the reception lady and asked if we were doing okay, if we needed help. We replied with 'We're doing fine, just looking around, thank you'. She said if we needed anything, to let her know. We thanked her, turned away and continued walking around. for some reason I immediately felt uncomfortable and felt as if we didn't belong in that establishment, like it was too out of our pay cut. I noticed she had followed us but I had thought she was heading back to the front desk, so I paid no mind to it. we continue to walk around and I had noticed that she was kind of lingering behind us, still, I didn't pay too much attention to it. After walking around for five minutes, my partner had seen that they had lemon water and proceeded to serve themselves a drink and quenches their thirst. I wanted to give them privacy, so I turned around to leave their side and that's when I noticed the lady semi hiding behind the store pillar, intensely staring at us with a menacing look. I was instantly disgusted at how she was watching us so much so that I wanted to leave, I didn't want to be in there anymore. I felt gross. I went to my partner and told them 'the lady is just staring us down. I wanna leave I don't feel comfortable here anymore.' We turned around and she continue to give us the same intense, dirty look, we headed for the front and for some reason this woman walked less than 5 feet behind us and followed us all the way out to the store. Why she did this, I do not know, but never in my life have I ever felt so uncomfortable/discriminated in the jewelry store. I feel it was racially motivated. My partner and I were the only Latinos in during that time amongst 15 other people (all Caucasian) and we were the only ones she did this to. Tivol, if this is how you treat your guests, especially when your store was founded by an immigrant individual, I...
