Love the store and the retail assistant was great, typical friendly greeting.
We had just been in another store and after talking to the retail assistant for a couple of minutes we were asked if either of us were emergency workers or part of the armed forces?
We explained that we were visiting from the UK and that I was an emergency worker, the retail assistant thanked me and said they would would provide us with discount.
This was really well received and I know people have said this happens online, we were asked the same in the Coca Cola Store and my wife presented the card.
The manager however had a really poor attitude and said that we shouldn’t try to use the discount in future beige walking away.
First of all we were asked by them and we quite clearly had english accents, second of all she could have just said no, I would rather her of just said no than try to belittle us in front of other customers.
I have an American cousin who served in the US army and a cousin that is a Police officer.
I know we offer discounts to US emergency workers, after visiting the US for many years and visiting family who live in the US, I can honestly say this is the worse interaction I have ever had from anyone let alone the manager of the Coca Cola store in Disney Springs.
We visited many stores at Disney Spring's and these were the only two stores where we had been asked if we were emergency workers.
At no point had we actively asked or gone into ask for discount, shame they don’t follow Outback, Under Armour, Nike and Micheal Kors as well as Levi’s to name a few, they have all offered the discount to English emergency workers or ourselves on past trips.
Disney themselves provide discount to NHS employees for holidays and parks so i don’t know why this would be such an issue.
As I said please just say you don’t or can’t offer this discount after asking your guests who have...
Read moreAs we were exploring the Disney Springs in Orlando, FL, we found a big Coca Cola store. The entrance was quite grand, with light fixture with floating bubbles, inviting people to imagine the moment you pop open a Coca Cola, with that nice fizzy bubbles rising up.
It was really huge, and two stories full of merchandise. They had cool items from other countries, which was really nice to see. They also had super cute Coca Cola bottles in all sorts of designs. You can pick the ones you want, create your own 6-pack to take home. And of course, don’t forget the cheerful, fluffy, cuddly polar bears! They had everything from plates, pillows, T-shirts, salt & pepper shaker, bags…you name it they had it.
The the real fun part starts on the top floor. The third floor is an exclusive rooftop beverage bar, overlooking the sights of Disney Springs. Here, you can enjoying lots of Coca-Cola brands from around the world.
We saw many people getting a sample tray of 16 different drinks, called the Coke around the World Sample. We didn’t want to get that much soda between the two of us, so we went with Float Tray. This one comes with 8 floats, the flavors are pre-selected already. And some of the cups were filled only half way, but it was still a lot of soda. Each one got a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I think $10 was a great deal for the amount of floats that we received.
It was good on a warm and humid night, but that was too much sugar for sure. We finished all the ice cream, but didn’t finish all the soda. It was a fun experience, great place to go and try Coca Cola brand soda from all around the world, or some ice-cold floats on a muggy day or night! Read moreWe visited on a Sunday evening in late December 2024. It was crowded as I'm sure it usually is. Our primary goal was to get some drinks at the roof top bar.
We got a table with seats with a nice view facing the Hollywood Planet restaurant. Crowds would come in waves where there is no one in line and then the line stretches across the entire roof top bar. We decided on only 2 drinks to try as we had been snacking all over Disney Springs all evening.
Dragonfruit Cherry Lemonade: this was very good and not super sweet as we were expecting and you get to keep the cup.
Artic Fizz: I was skeptical but my middle son insisted we get this. The kids loved it. I took a small sip and it was like sugar overload in my opinion. The kids were fighting over it however so it takes a specific pallet.
We've been to this rooftop bar and would come here again if in Disney Springs. We also happened to be up here and catch 2 sets of fireworks from 2 different Disney Parks. That was pretty cool and completely by accident.
The rest of the store itself is nice. There is a clearance section on the second floor and my youngest insisted on getting a seal stuffy. Any coke merch you could possibly want I felt was available...
