Well, as far as large screen format entertainment (with moving chairs) this was a 3 to 3.5 experience out of 5. The screen is the right size (but if on top row, clearly see the top of the screen so the impressiveness gets cut down tremendously). the movement of the chairs, sprays of mist, and wind simulations were just fine but seemed to miss opportunities more than I'd like to keep you in the experience. The worst part was the image quality which is THE WORST of any of these types of experiences I've attended with my family.... THE WORST ... as someone else stated, it's DVD quality in a 4K world. Just fuzzy and took away from the enjoyment. I recommend ownership go to competitors and see how the image is done ... if they could fixe the image and wrap the screen more at top to keep the top row from being drawn out of the experience due to the large black open space just a head hilt up the screen, it would be a fine and top notch experience. Otherwise, it's fine. We were all ... meh ... due to the image quality (horrible ....). We saw both to see if it was just the one presentation but it wasn't ... it's the whole experience. Ahola and Wilderness both had horrible, fuzzy, lower quality, and orange color tint...
Read moreThe flight experience was ok but customer experience was pathetic. My family bought 4 tickets to the experience and thought of coming back to do the experience after having dinner. somehow we lost one ticket and we requested the supervisor Hector so many times to check our credit card to see we paid for the tickets. He was rude and didn’t even want to hear us. He mentioned we have to pay again. Ultimately I asked my husband to do the experience with my 2 kids and I was left out. As a middle class family when we plan for a water park adventure, we know how much of a hard earned money we have to spend to give our kids world class experience. I was upset for 2 things : in this digital era, if a company cannot track the transactions through credit card that’s a real shame and second having customer empathy. All I needed was they to check our credit card and reissue the ticket which they didn’t.
My personal message to Hector, the supervisor at Take the flight, Wilderness - if you are going to stay in hospitality sector, learn the number 1 rule - Have customer empathy. I am so disappointed and upset that my kids didn’t do the ride with...
Read moreDo not go on this ride if you have acrophobia!! I knew it was a flight simulation but oh my goodness!! I had no idea how high you actually are on this thing! Its at least two stories up with a dome screen in front of you and you’re in these seats that shoot out closer to the screen with little to no warning and nothing under your feet, and just a seatbelt for protection. The seats then bounce and kick around leaning forward and back like you’re flying but its so jarring and was so hard to concentrate on what was going on because I was too busy holding myself up and water squirts you in the face which didn’t help my anxiety. I tried so hard to just close my eyes and wait it out but I couldn’t, I panicked and screamed for help. Luckily they heard me screaming and turned it off which felt like it lasted hours because I was so panicked. They were nice and gave our money back but I’ll never do that again. It was altogether an extremely frightening and traumatic experience. I repeat, if you or your kids have a fear of heights DO...
