My husband and I joined 20 other friends for a Brunch buffet cruise today. The servers and staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The captain of the boat that gave us a tour of the lake and told us all about the history and homes, which was VERY enjoyable. The only thing that we were very disappointed about was the actual food that we were served in the buffet. The food was cold by the time we got to it, and the last half of the passengers did not even get many of the food selections. They ran out of many of them, and told us to complain. Unfortunately they chose an inefficient caterer to do the food. There was no compensation for the fact that some people just didn't get enough food. Although they were very apologetic, when a person pays $60 plus for food and a cruise, every person should be able to enjoy the selections that the first half of the guests were offered before they ran out. The next time I go on a Lake Geneva boat tour, it will be for a cocktail Cruise only. I'll get lunch or breakfast before I go, and probably pay a little less for it. But besides the food, the day was a very enjoyable way to visit with our friends, and we had a beautiful day for the cruise.
