I had the worst experience with three security officers employed by Allied Universal Security while shopping at the North Premium Outlets today. My husband and I arrived to Parking Garage A at approx. 11:58am and parked in a legal and designated parking spot on level 2. We walked back to our car at approx. 4:00pm and noticed our vehicle was no longer in the space we had left it. We searched the parking garage for 45 minutes in 108 degree weather to ensure we didn’t forget where we had parked and it was no where to be found. I had the key with me and locked the car when we left. We finally decided to call the security number listed on the parking garage walls. We spoke to security officer D. Castro and he said he would meet us on level 2 to assist us. When security officer D. Castro arrived he mentioned no vehicles had been towed today, but a vehicle of the same make and model with California plates was supposed to be towed yesterday 6/27. Our vehicle has Arizona plates. He recommended we report our vehicle stolen since it could not be found in the garage. We then made an attempt to report it stolen with LVMPD, when Security Director S. Garza asked my husband to go with him to the guest services office before finalizing the report. He told my husband that our vehicle had been mistakenly towed and was located at a tow lot 20 minutes away and that the tow company refused to bring our vehicle back and that he would not and could not arrange a ride for us to get to our vehicle or compensate us in any way for this mistake. We were also given the wrong address to the tow lot by Director Garza, which added on to this frustrating incident. Director Garza was unwilling to provide information as to who was responsible for signing off on our vehicle, (the wrong vehicle!!) being towed and claimed no knowledge. We eventually received a copy of the tow paperwork which indicated that security officer Castro was the official that released our vehicle to the tow company. The same officer that had told us at approx. 4:45pm that no vehicles had been towed was the same security officer that signed the tow paperwork at 1:15pm. After reviewing the information we had been given and experienced, I attempted to speak to a Supervisor of the Outlets security department to discuss this gross display of security, honesty and ethics. I came in contact with Supervisor De La Cruz and explained the situation to him and rather than apologize or inquire about the integrity of the security officers and security director, he dismissed me and failed to take any responsibility for the situation.
My husband and I are both federal law enforcement officers and veterans and were greatly disturbed by the lack of integrity, service, and security these individuals portrayed. Nothing more disheartening than seeing these men wear uniforms that represent safety and public trust. We had dinner plans and tickets to a show that we were unable to attend due to the extensive time it took to get our car back. The lack of attention to detail from the Outlets security team not only inconvenienced us but family members as well. It appears as if my family and I were the only ones that suffered consequences for someone...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, and overall, I had a positive experience. This outlet mall is located in the heart of Las Vegas and offers a wide variety of stores, making it a great destination for shoppers looking for good deals.
One of the highlights of this outlet mall is the range of stores available. With over 150 stores to choose from, including popular brands like Nike, Coach, Calvin Klein, and Michael Kors, there's something for everyone's taste and budget. Whether you're looking for clothing, accessories, footwear, or even home goods, you're likely to find a store that suits your needs.
The deals and discounts offered at Las Vegas North Premium Outlets are quite impressive. Many stores offer significant markdowns on their merchandise, allowing shoppers to find great bargains. During my visit, I was able to score some fantastic deals, saving a considerable amount of money on items that would have cost much more at regular retail stores. It's definitely a place worth visiting if you're looking to shop on a budget.
However, I must emphasize the need for precautions, particularly during the summer months. Las Vegas is known for its scorching temperatures, and the outlet mall is no exception. The heat can be quite intense, and it's essential to take appropriate measures to stay cool and hydrated. Wearing light, breathable clothing, using sunscreen, and carrying a water bottle are essential for a comfortable shopping experience. Additionally, visiting early in the day or during cooler hours can help avoid the peak heat.
The mall itself is well-maintained and offers a pleasant shopping environment. The layout is easy to navigate, and there are plenty of benches and seating areas throughout for resting and taking a break. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, adding to the positive atmosphere of the mall.
Parking at Las Vegas North Premium Outlets can be a bit challenging during busy times, but there are ample parking spaces available. However, it's advisable to arrive early or consider using public transportation or rideshare services to avoid any inconvenience.
In conclusion, Las Vegas North Premium Outlets is a decent outlet mall with a wide selection of stores and excellent deals. While it's important to take precautions during the summer months due to the intense heat, a visit to this outlet mall can be a rewarding and enjoyable shopping experience. Whether you're a local resident or a tourist visiting Las Vegas, this shopping destination is definitely worth checking out if you're in search of some...
Read moreI've lived in Las Vegas for about 10 years now and I'm pretty certain that I've visited every major shopping mall this city has to offer (including the surrounding areas of Summerlin and Henderson). This obviously does not include all those mini strip malls either. Out of all the malls, this is by far my favorite one to "shop" at; my favorite mall to walk around is at another location. The stores at this location offer a wide array of options and prices are very reasonable, especially for being in a "tourist" city. I especially respect how the majority of the stores offer a military discount to active servicemembers and Veterans - this is highly appreciated.
The food court, however, is slightly underwhelming because it seems like an afterthought of this whole shopping area. The options aren't that great and every time I walk in, it doesn't look clean at all. Typically, I don't utilize the food court here so it definitely isn't a show-stopper for me. But I still enjoy the fact that there is a food court here for customers to enjoy if that's what they're in the mood for. This mall has one of my favorite burger restaurants...Shake Shack - so I'm happy! Although, I have yet to eat there (because I always seem to arrive at this mall after I just ate). This mall also has a Cheesecake Factory in the event you wanted to take a break and sit down/eat during your shopping extravaganza.
I don't shop for clothes as often as some other folks do, but when I do, I really enjoy coming here. The employees at this mall are typically friendly and very helpful - I don't think I've ever encountered a rude or unprofessional employee at any of the stores. One thing to note is that this mall can be a little challenging to shop at during the hot months because when you're not in one of the stores, you're walking around the blistering heat. If you're visiting Las Vegas, definitely take a taxi/ride share and visit this outlet mall - you'll love the deals and sales here. Highly recommend this mall...
