STRAT Café — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Apparently any room services for Stratosphere is handled through Roxy's. Managers are supposed to handle any and all orders, which didn't happen in our case. My dad was getting married this weekend and my sister and I wanted to order a package for him and his new bride to be waiting in their room after the wedding. My sister and I went the day before (because the guy on the phone told me to come in any time) to place our order. The package we got had two options, but I did make sure to specify which option we wanted. However, my dad and his wife did NOT get what we had ordered. The next day my sister had to make another trip to the restaurant to speak with a manager about our screwed up order. At first it took the manager a good while to get a copy of our order and to understand what we were upset about. Then she spent another 20 minutes or so wasting our time trying to find the person who took our order, because the guy hadn't put his name on it and they had no idea who was working that day. After wasting a good half hour or so, she continued to stand there and tell my sister and I that what we ordered wasn't on the order form and it was basically our fault for not checking it. I had to keep telling her no, that I remembered specifically telling the guy what we wanted, and that the managers should've been the ones taking our order in the first place. They were there in the restaurant, but refused to come out to take our order that day. I told her that someone had to be held accountable for getting our order wrong, because we paid a lot for the package. She refused to give us anything at all, she couldn't just stop what she was doing, drop everything, and do anything for us, until I told her that they were the ones to screw up. Then she said at best she could only give us 20% back, which isn't much. But all the while, she continued to stress that it was our fault the order was wrong. I am very disappointed in the customer service we received and I will never go to another dining establishment in the Stratosphere again. I do NOT recommend anyone to use their facilities. If there's zero star, that's what Strat Cafe deserves. I went in talked to the host about the menu. I wanted to have some soup because it was too cold. The host told me, yea Hot and Sour soup is available, I can order. I love the soup, so I went in and was seated by the host. The waiter Martha came in, very rude, she acted like doesn't want to serve me. She asked me what to drink. I wanted to have water. Then, she brought the water and just told me to keep looking the menu, until I serve other guests. Even though, I was already ready. I tried to tell her, but she completely ignored me, and left. Later when she came back, I told her I wanted to have Hot and Sour soup. The waiter Martha goes, it's not available, nothing available from Chinese by 12 am. The waiter Martha said that only five minutes are remaining till 12 am. I tried to explain her that I talked to the host. The host is the one who explained everything. She was like I am telling you that nothing from Chinese is available after 12 am, and it's only five minutes left from 12 am and we don't have any Chinese. The waiter Martha placed a hand on the menu on one side and stated you can look after these pages. The waiter literally placed her palm very loudly on one side of the menu and stated, do not look back behind these pages. She said, she's the waiter and she knows What's available and what is not. Then waiter Martha said I have to assist other guests, you keep looking up the menu going forward from these pages. Again, with loudly placed her palm on the menu, and she left to assist others. I was very upset with the insult, and just left the restaurant. This waiter's attitude is like the one who works on the street serving food. I don't think even food serving on a street even does like that. This waiter Martha should not be working big restaurant. The Strat Cafe is literally desperate to hire trash people like this waiter Martha. That's the reputation of The Strat Cafe. I will never recommend anyone to eat there. It will definitely...

We came from Cleveland ohio! The service was terrible, food and all! First off the waitress came to our table very abruptly and rude. She took the drink orders and came with the wrong drinks. She has no customer service skills at all. She was not attentive at all. My boyfriend's coffee was cold it tasted burnt, my Niece want to change her order, she gave my Niece a bad look, like she was upset because she change her mind. My boyfriend and I had burgers, she asked him for cheese choice and not me. I asked her why she did not give me and option, she said I told her cheddar. I never told her anything she had assumed. Ok food came fries was not appetizing at all, portion was small and they tasted like the freezer. My Nieces did enjoy their fajitas( I have to give them that!). Ok the bill comes!!!! She put everything on one check. Never asked how the bill was getting split. She brings the bill I told her it was separate checks, she had an attitude, do you hear me attitude! Then she tells me, ok I will be back and can I mark down it was getting divided. Instead of her asking us to tell her, she put us to work. How rude of her!!!! We here another table fussing at her fir wring charges and messing up their bill. Smh. To top it off, when she was at our table to distribute our checks to us, a customer came by and told her,"F$#% you Bi%:#!" That was rude of the Customer but she was not Customer orient at all. We will never come to this restaurant again. Poor poor service!!!! Good morning, just a quick follow up, We did try the cafe' again and the experience was a whole lot better. Nancy(graveyard Shift manager) was very attentive and concerned about bad experience we had the first time. She ensured me we will not have to worry about having a bad experience again. She is someone who cares, thank you Nancy. From speaking with her on the the phone, I can tell that she cares about the well being of Customers. Food was hot and Great!
