This is the absolute worst ! I was looking at a few items in a case in the upstairs part. I asked the lady behind the counter if i could see a piece and she asked me what the case number was and it was in the upper left hand of the case. There was NO NUMBER! But she insisted that it was there, she didn’t want to come upstairs without the key and i understood. But she flung her hand at me like i was her employee. Just rude , i said it’s not there and she says “IT IS THERE” in a condescending tone. Well another lady comes up and shows me two tags that no one in the world would have been able to recognize unless you worked here. They don’t care at all. I own a very well known company not far from here and i tell you if i treated my customers this way i would not have very many . I know we all have bad days but come on ! There was absolutely no apology, no responsibility for what happened at all. She said if i wasn’t happy i should go somewhere else . I would have just said sorry and it would have been over, but pride got in her way. I’m sure she’s not used to having to apologize for anything. But i always try to do it as soon as i realize i did something wrong. Nope no apology nothing. I would say buyer beware but it’s not gonna change anything at all. Some people are just miserable and these two lady’s are plain miserable. Two of the lady’s were absolutely amazing and i wish i knew their names but they were super nice !! To the two lady’s that were rude to me , go find some happiness and compassion and...
Read moreI called and spoke with Tommy the manager over the phone to ask if they purchase antique furniture. She stated that they do. I then told her "great" i live in Anna, Tx and I will load the chair in my vehicle to take to the store for them to look at. I figured she would be interested in some old JFK magazines so I bought those along to show her. Upon, arrival my kiddos & I walk inside the store and saw many customers. As I sat the magazine's on the counter to be waited on by Tommy. She looked at me automatically said " oh we don't take magazines " I said okay, well i have the red velvet antique chair I spoke to you about over the phone. She asked do you have a picture ? I responded with no, the chair is in my vehicle. I spoke with you an hour ago about bringing it. She differently had no interested in helping me what so ever. She was rude about it and I told her " I'm not sure what is going on right now. " I was really confused. She stated to me " PAYING CUSTOMERS COME FIRST" I was dumb founded. Tommy said this isn't the time. I then asked her " why she didn't tell me over the phone before I drove from Anna. I asked her for the owners name, phone number or email address so I can contact them. With no hesitation or apologizes she bluntly said NO, you cannot have none of that info. I was in shock to be treated in such manner especially being my first visit to this store. I PRAY THAT TOMMY TREATS CUSTOMERS FAIRLY AND...
Read moreI give it two stars. As I walked in, I noticed that every one who seemed of a pale complex was greeted as for me I was just simply brushed off. I walked around for about 2hr admiring all the beautiful pieces. I decided that I wanted to just get a little ring that was in one of the boxed shelves that needs a key. I was confused at first on how it worked so I went to the front. The woman at the front were having a conversation while I stood there trying to get their attention and proceeded to wait until it was done to help me. The older woman told me she needs the number of the case in order to get the right key to open it. When I did, she already seemed annoyed. After I picked the ring she told me to give it to her and said that she will hold it in the front until I finish and I told her I was. She looked upset for some reason. When I went to the front with her, she gaved the ring to someone else to check me out, but when she did, she told them" oh she's only getting just one thing" in a way of that I should've gotten more. The lady who checked me out was very nice and while she was, the older woman stood there looking at me as if I was disgusting. I felt so uncomfortable and felt that the ring wasn't even worth purchasing due to the interaction I had encountered. It's a great place to look around but if your looking for a welcoming presence someone to help you, I wouldn't suggest coming here for it. Great...
