Surf Style — Local services in Miami Beach

Seemed like a typical souvenir type shop and we enjoyed shopping there. People in the area were a bit... questionable, but it's a party street, so as expected, I guess. Reminded me of shopping in the French Quarter in NOLA. We bought 3 shirts, a magnet and some post cards. Put one shirt on before leaving town, and an hour or two into our drive home, noticed the design was badly peeling off. It was just breaking apart and peeling right off of the shirt. By the time we got home, a patch about 4 inches long by 2 inches wide is completely gone and the rest is steadily peeling. All from just sitting in a car. No rough wear, no washing machine, nothing but sitting in a car. I'm totally bummed because it was a really cute shirt, but it is already ruined and washing it is bound to finish it off. Not sure if I just got a poorly made dud or what. Haven't tested the others yet. I'll be calling tomorrow and will update this review once I see how they handle it. If their customer service is decent, I am expecting either a new and better quality shirt to be mailed to me, which is what I want because I do love it, or at the least, a full refund. I guess we will see. Sucks I didn't discover the problem before leaving the state. Can't exactly take it back in when I'm 17.5 hours away now. Visiting Miami for the first time with my husband, we went inside the store to buy souvenirs for our kids back home. This place has horrible customer service, the guy who was tending to customers on the floor kept on following us, super close, staring at us the whole time, he made us feel very uncomfortable, every area we went inside the store, he followed, I had to ask him if it was for us to look around, he said yes, but stayed next to us the wholetime we were there. The woman at the register was not any nicer, when we went to pay, she didn't great us at all, gave us a mean look, didn't say a word the whole time. She looked mean and nasty. If you are black, don’t come in this store. The moment I walked thru the door, this older Latina woman stared at me unwaveringly without asking if I could be helped. I disregarded it as I was texting my mom to see what size shirts I needed to buy. As I was browsing, not 60 seconds in the store, I see the same woman has followed me to the back of the store. She was stocking shelves when I came in. Instead of making a scene I immediately turned towards her and walked out of the store. She never asked did I need anything or offered assistance.
