Quality of service does not match the price. I purchased a wedding dress here in December, 2023 for my October, 2024 wedding. The boutique has expensive products (which they admit), but very nice in-store service and a good selection of gowns. At the time of purchase, I was told the dress would arrive in April. After hearing nothing from the boutique, I called in early May. I was informed that the dress would be ready by the end of May. I called back in early June to inquire. The store associate told me that the dress had already been shipped and therefore was unable to be expedited but would certainly be ready by the end of the week. I waited until the end of the week and called again to check on it. The store associate informed me that there had been a delay and the dress would be ready by "mid to late summer, likely in September." I then told them that this was unacceptable, explaining that I needed to get the dress as soon as possible due to needing time for specialized alterations and was worried that I would not have enough time. I felt very concerned because it seemed like I could not get a straight answer from anyone, so I asked if I could speak with whomever was in charge of obtaining the gowns to see if we could find an alternative solution. A few days later Christina, the owner of the store, called me to discuss. I explained my concerns to her and expressed my frustration at not being able to get a straight answer from anyone. I even offered to take a different size of dress if one was available or even an entirely different style if necessary. She then contacted the dress maker in New York and informed me that she had been told there had been an issue with the dress in the manufacturing department and that the dress had to be re-made and therefore wouldn't be ready until mid September. This was much too late because of the lead time for the alterations I needed done to it. The owner questioned me as to why I needed so much time even though the alteration info sheet I had been given at the time of purchase said dress alterations needed several months to complete. She said most places only need two weeks. After multiple phone calls over the next few weeks, I was told that the dress had been overnight shipped and would arrive by Thursday evening (it was now July). I called the shop on Friday afternoon to see if I could come pick it up. The store associate told me that it had not yet arrived. At this point I was furious and feeling like I had been mislead yet again. I contact the owner and said that this situation was ridiculous and that I would be coming to the shop on Sunday morning to pick up the dress and that it had better be there. The next day (Saturday), the boutique called me to say that the dress was ready and asked that I come immediately to pick it up, which I did. When I got there they made me sign a form and gave me a coffee mug, sweatshirt, and bridal magazine and asked that I please leave them a good review. This review is not good, but it is honest. I do feel that other prospective brides should know about what I had to deal with. The gown is beautiful. The front desk service was very unprofessional, and I felt like I was being given cagey information until I spoke with the store owner herself. More often than not, the wedding gown industry operates on a single-transaction basis, and in this case they truly failed to meet even minimal standards of customer service, despite advertising that they go, "above and beyond" for each client, thus justifying their elevated prices. I would not recommend anyone purchase a dress from here unless they have more than double the lead time available before they need it....

I get there and as she starts pinning up my dress it becomes clear that the quality of this dress is awful. The lining on the cups isnât to the edge of the dress. The zipper has becoming unattached from the dress lining, and the ribbon to hold the train up on the hanger had torn. This dress went from the boutique to my closet, and then to the seamstress. Itâs hard to fathom that a dress costing almost four thousand dollars would have this happen to it. I called the boutique and was told to provide them pictures (below). I emailed the pictures to Heidi after speaking to her and was told that it was the pattern of the dress and I was just seeing it a different way. Extremely upsetting considering it can be clearly seen that the quality is awful. The employees then started staying that it was the seamstress I went to and if I had gone to Maria she would have been able to fix it. Now, this is not something that should have had to be fixed in the first place. And it shouldnât matter the seamstress. The only reason they wanted Maria was for the commission they would receive off of it. The owner, Christina, called me back to scream that they are not affiliated with Maria and they donât get any money from her. I told her it shouldnât then matter who is doing alterations on the dress, the dress is messed up and the quality is terrible, that is what matters. She then told me to return the dress and she would give me my money back and âgood luck in finding a new wedding dress in time.â She said she spoke to the Lazaro representative and any issues I had with the dress to take it up with them. I called back the next day requesting the Lazaro representative contact information and any communication that was had between them so I could figure out what happened with my dress. I was told by Heidi that Christina, the owner, would be contacting me back. The next day I still didnât get that information so I called again, requesting the information for the Lazaro representative and this time Sarah, assured me she would be getting the information or having Christina call me back. I didnât receive a call back. Instead I received an email from Christina, the White Dress Bridal Boutique owner, telling me should would be providing me with no information and that her employees were instructed not to take my calls anymore as this was a legal matter. She would be forwarding any communication to her attorney, which I told her to go ahead and do as there were no issues in our communication, just her lack of. Now, as a business owner and professional, when there is an issue this large and an amount this high paid, I would have expected more sympathy and a little bit more willingness to help with the situation. Instead, I got side eyed and told I was on my own once they got their money and that she shouldnât have sold me the dress in the first place. As someone who believes they did nothing wrong, I find it odd that she would have contacted her attorney. That to me, seems like something someone who is guilty of wrongdoing and deceptive actions would do. I DO NOT recommend this boutique and would urge you to find a place that still cares about you, even after they have...
Read moreWhite dress was my first and only stop in the search for my wedding gown. A few of my friends and my wedding planner had recommended this botique and I am so glad i made an appointment here. My mom, two sisters, and I were greeted warmly when we first arrived. They took our coats and offered us beverages. Then, we were seated in our own little private area. The interior of the boutique is very tasteful and modern but also comfortable. We then met my bridal stylist, Lindsey, who was so helpful and fun to work with. It felt like she was a friend to us all. Lindsey took me around and showed me all of the dresses from the different designers they carried. All of the dresses were beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable price points. We selected six different styles that we thought i would like to start with. They did not spare any little detail. There was a robe in the dressing room and they even brought me a pair or bridal shoes to try on with the dresses (I was particularly worried about this with it being winter seeing as I wore boots to my appointment). We tried on the first six dresses and narrowed it down to my top three or so. Then, my mom and sisters had some suggestions about dresses they spotted throughout the store. Lindsey was so easy going throughout the process and listened to everyoneâs suggestions while still ultimately listening to my opinion and staying true to my vision. We ended up finding my perfect dress and I could not be happier! They brought us all flutes and champagne and we had a celebratory champagne toast at the end, which was a very nice touch. I was also very grateful for the fact that after I found my dress, Lindsey gave us some time to take pictures and enjoy the moment. We did not feel rushed or hurried at all. She even took pictures of the whole group. I would recommend White Dress and Lindsey to anyone who is in search of their perfect wedding dress. My whole experience of finding my dress was so relaxed and I did not feel pressured or hurried in any way. They truly make you feel like family at this boutique and I am still amazed at how easy they made the process of finding my...
