Been a loyal customer here for the 2 years since I moved to Moab even though the other hardware store in town is in a more convenient location and has a larger selection of most items. BUT... I tried to return some unneeded hardware today and was promptly informed that they don't take ANY returns or EXCHANGES without a receipt. Unfortunately the homeowner I have been working for threw the receipt away. Crappy policy? YES. NOT the hometown local small store service I would expect. I guess that other hardware store is going to get all of my business...
Read moreno tool rental and no assistance with cutting a few pieces for a fee. they only cut what they've sold and really, as per the usual. another business that only goes as far as it needs to take money and provides minimal service to complete that transaction.
this world is a straight joke. I'm surrounded by people with table saws and they refuse to rent them out or help me do a couple cuts for 15 minutes. I'm literally buying a table saw to do the cuts myself and then return it afterward because I can't carry it around...
Read moreGo elsewhere for firewood. Maverick gas station was $7.50 for same size loads...maybe a hair bigger. The bundles at Turner Lumber of Moab were really average...I would say small even and we paid $10 a bundle. Think this is the most we've paid for wood...ever. We are avid campers. People inside were very nice but this leaves a bad taste...
