Monterey Bay: A Preview of Scuba Diving Spots Near California

McAbee Beach is a nice little beach in Cannery Row that's main purpose is for tourists to be able to take a short walk down the beach without all the hassle of a traditional sized beach. I'm sure it has some historic reason for being there and having it stay the way it was since back in the day, but it serves its purpose well. No waves and a safe place to put your feet in the water without getting swept away. Sometimes there are little seashells and sometimes there are other cool things that washup on shore. This is the same beach where John Denver crashed his plane in 1997 just a little south of this beach (if you don't know who John Denver is, your parents are terrible people).

McAbee Beach is located near the Monterey Aquarium and Monterey Downtown, which I love to visit on weekends. Visitors can use the free tourist bus to explore the Downtown area. Additionally, there are plenty of shopping and small business stores on Cannery Row street, making it a convenient and walkable area. If you're planning to visit the Monterey Aquarium, I highly recommend checking out this beautiful beach too!

I went there with the wife to eat breakfast. We were seated promptly. We were both very hungry and anxious to eat. I odered a basic bacon, scrambled eggs, potato chunks. I began eating the eggs with a potato chunk, and as I began chewing, I could feel a foreign object other than eggs and potatoes. A long strand of hair mixed into the eggs. Nothing grosses me out more than finding some foreign object, especially hair in my food. The wife's food was fine. I didn't continue eating, obviously. Of course, I wasn't charged for what I ordered. They were nice and offered me something else to eat, but I declined. That was my only...
