I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ride Makerz in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The staff at this location went above and beyond to ensure our visit was nothing short of amazing.
From the moment we arrived, the team was welcoming and eager to assist. They were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping us build our custom cars. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they made the entire process fun and engaging for everyone in our group.
What really stood out was how the staff tailored their assistance to each individual’s needs. Whether it was helping us choose the perfect parts or guiding us through the assembly, they were there every step of the way, offering helpful tips and making sure we were completely satisfied with our creations.
The Myrtle Beach location itself was clean, well-organized, and stocked with a fantastic variety of options to customize our cars. The staff’s attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service made our visit truly memorable.
If you’re in Myrtle Beach and looking for a unique, interactive experience, I highly recommend checking out Ride Makerz. The staff here are exceptional, and they’ll make sure you leave with not just a custom car, but also great memories!

Read moreWhen we arrived we were told "I hope you know what you want because you've only got 15 mins".. We advised that we were in town on vacation and might not be able to come back to which the employee, Eduardo (or something like that), shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Once we got in to the store proper we were assisted by Justin. Justin was very helpful and friendly and helped my son have a good experience. My son got a tow truck with some power accessories (lights) and it cost about $60 with tax..neat store, but I was so ticked off with Eduardo that I about turned around and left right when we got there with some choice words on the way out..dude really needs to learn about customer service and working retail. Justin being helpful and friendly is why I rated it 3 stars and not 1 or 2..if not for him then it would have been 1 star. The actual product (the truck) is worth 4 stars (its all plastic with parts made in...
Read moreRIDEMAKERZ has a great concept, but the execution fell short for us. After some debate, we decided to visit and pick up a car as an early Christmas gift for my oldest. We selected the car, tires, and rims, then opted for the remote-control upgrade ($29 for the car, $29 for the upgrade, and $9 for four AA batteries).
The excitement was building as it was time to assemble, but the experience was disappointing.
The attendant opened all the packages, aligned the screws, and prepped everything for us. This took away what should have been the most fun part—opening the packages and assembling the car together. My son has been helping me swap winter and summer tires on our SUV and car since he was six, so hands-on tasks like this are a big deal for him.
The idea is fantastic, but the process could use improvement. Hoping the motor on the vehicle holds up well, but overall, we left feeling the experience could have been...
