Alice Beauty Spa — Attraction in New York

Edit: (to respond to feedback which didn’t address the concerns - I’m a Queens native and have lived here my entire life so am very familiar with the charges in this area. I hope the business does a better job at listening to feedback and not trying to guilt trip people for tipping more. This is my first critical review on Google and I had to write it to warn others. Sorry to whomever is reading it for sounding like “that” person in the reviews, I truly am trying to help!)

Listen to the other reviews - I didn’t and felt awkward about it. They’re nice on the outside but the massage ended strangely. Massage was okay and I tipped 20% but she was clearly unhappy and said it was too low. This is more than enough especially for a standard massage. I was told that cash was preferred so paid everything in cash. Businesses normally charge 3% for credit card fees but this one charges 8%. Eventually I gave more than what I initially did because I’m happy to support people. I was pressured into paying with cash and tipping more, this was unprofessional and awkward. The best possible place to fix yourself if you have pulled your back!!! Have problem with my lower back for years, and it’s getting worse when I am aging. I used to go to physical therapy or Acupuncture for my back pain, both works just takes long time and many visits which is not timely efficient. Did some research and found out “Cupping” possibly will relief my back pain better, so I tried at Alice’s....Trust me, it hurts !!!!! But after the pain is the gain which I can assure you those pains are totally worth it. This was the worst massage I ever had. I previously came to this location in which the massage was amazing. The lady I had today somehow managed to depict the ideal WORST MASSAGE. I thought I was being pranked. She dug her elbows into all areas, and I mean all areas... my spine, ribs, even my hands. Then she proceeded to stand on my back for god knows how long (felt like an eternity) then she at one point while standing on my back PICKED UP A PHONE CALL and was talking for probably 2 minutes.
