I really wanted to like this place. The concept is wonderful. However, I was involved in a very heated argument with a man and his wife. I complained 2x to an employee about older kids playing in the toddler area. Nothing was done. My two year old daughter, and 2 year old nephews were practically trampled over, because older kids who must’ve been about 9 years old, jumped over the gate and were jumping around and running up the slide, while babies were trying to slide down. They were also, violently jumping into the ball pit for the toddlers. The mom, watched her kids do this, and just stared. She rolled her eyes when she saw my family complaining to a worker, then she told her kids to get out. However, her husband, approached my family and arrogantly, asked “ WHATS THE PROBLEM?”, in a very provoking manner. We explained that his kids do not belong in an area were there are toddlers bc they’re older. He proceeded to pop his chest out, and speak to us very nastily. Which caused a full on heated argument, Between the two families. My family and I, are Hispanic and the lady and her family were Caucasian. The “manager”, seemed to tend to them first, as if they were victims. We were visibly upset, and it wasn’t my shining hour, however, we were simply trying to explain that both her and her husband were being nasty once he saw that we were complaining. I was told by the “manager”, that in a park I can do whatever I want, but in there I should’ve gotten a manager. I explained that I complained twice and nothing was done. The workers were every where else except where the toddlers were at. An employee, be there, making sure things like this do not occur. Then the manager tells me, “well I do agree with the wife when she said, WHAT IF she would’ve been by herself and you would’ve argued with her, she was scare, and she was scared for her children.” At that moment I felt discriminated against. If we are going to play the “what if” card, 1. What if there was an employee guarding the play area for the toddlers? 2. What if my initial complaint would’ve been handled? 3. What if I was by myself with my two year old daughter, and nephews, and her husband would still have approached aggressively as he did, when I complained? The what if’s have nothing to do with the situation. The “WHAT IFS” seemed to only apply to the white family.I feel like because we are POC, and were obviously upset, that we were already labeled and spoken to as the “angry black family.” The manager arrived long after the argument started. Because we were the ones visibly upset, we were told that if we cause any more issues(in a very accusatory tone)that we would be asked to leave. I didn’t hear him say that to the Caucasian people. Again, it wasn’t our shining hour, but we were provoked, and unheard. Lastly, the food was horrible. I will never go back there, or recommend this place. I’m only giving it 2 stars because my daughter and nephews had a good time, despite...

Becareful visiting this place, they harbor violent bullies, We went here twice and both times we witnessed and experienced kids bullying directly to us and others.

First time in April 22,2023 and boy by the ball pit area threw a ball at my daughter's face. The parent was there and did not apologize nor corrected they're child.

Today we were here for my daughter's friends birthday party that was held there and 2 older boys blocked off the 2nd tier area corner right with full of balls and wouldn't let any other kids pass through and violently kept other kids away, one kids left crying and my wife asked the 2 boys to stop and they reluctantly listened and continue to throw a large ball my daughter's friend (birthday girl age 4) she started crying and then the boy proceeded to try to punch her. We notified the staff and one of the boys ran away leaving his friend behind to be scolded by staff. Which did not warn their parents of the violent act.

After we found and confronted the parent of the aggressive child the parent doubted the fact but my wife was direct witness of the occurrence, the father did not apologize but disregarded as we annoyed him, while his child blatantly admitted he didn't want anyone to come to HIS area.

Be aware if you bring your child and not keep a eye on them as there is no staff inside the main play area zone they maybe bullied or even hurt due to other parents attentive negligence if their own child.

The parents don't watch their own kids inside and times of these occurrences the parents are arrogant.

Staff is nice and the place is large but don't leave your kids alone too long as other majority parents are on their phones not actually watching their child's actions.

Best advice to kanga is to add staff inside the play area to avoid and maintain a safe environment, also staff should be diligent to notify the aggressors child's parent and give them a warning or not let them return if they continue to persist.

We won't be coming back here due to these terrible bullying experiences.

If you do please watch your child for their safety. No child should experience this on their birthday none less a...

This is one of the larger indoor playcenter we’ve been to. The store front consists of a small door with a small sign. We almost passed it the first time we went here. They really need better signage. The first-floor entrance also isn’t very welcoming. You come into a dimly lit hallway that leads you to the elevator and the parking lot area. The playcenter is on the second floor and there are signs when you come in that you must leave strollers downstairs. The stroller parking area is in the actual parking facility of the building.

Once inside you’ll see that indoor playcenter is large and clean. They charge by height and not by age, which is unusual. And they recently changed their pricing so now parents are free—you only pay for the kids to enter. Parents are given a card with the number of the band that each child is assigned. You must show the card in order to exit with the child. I liked this little security measure very much. They have a room upstairs for birthday parties and the bathroom upstairs has the changing table.

I would say that this place is geared more towards kids 4-9 years old. There is a small toddler are that is sectioned off. My two-year-old nephew was able to do most of the activities except for the rock wall, which was for ages 4 and up. It’s nice that there’s a huge sitting area with tables and chairs for parents to sit and watch their kids. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel comfortable letting my two-year-old nephew go off on his own into the obstacle course. We took turns following him through it and the various slides and tunnels. It was quite the workout! There’s a huge slide in the middle of the obstacle course and it was a lot of fun to go on it with my nephew.

There’s a tea cup merry go ride that both parents and children can ride. It’s not turned on all the time, but they do make an announcement every time they open it, which is every hour for about ten minutes.

Feeling hungry? They have a small cafĂŠ that serves food and drinks. We really appreciated this convenience as not all playcenters offers food.

Overall, we had a blast and are planning on...

We spent the morning at @Kangas Indoor Playcenter in Long Island City, and the kids had a blast! It’s only $20 per kid and 1 adult gets in FREE — super clean, toddler-friendly, and worth every penny 👏🏽 Perfect for our toddlers and 7 year old to burn off energy 😅 #NYCMoms #ThingsToDoNYC #IndoorPlayground #ToddlerActivities #BudgetFriendlyFun #AffordableFamilyFun

I am not exaggerating when I say I had to drag my kids out of here after four hours of nonstop playing. @Kangaslongislandcity is pretty affordable, $20 a kid for an unlimited amount of time; no reservations necessary. The big bonus is the parking lot next door that charges a flat fee of $6 if you’re visiting Kanga’s. There was something for everyone here, including a smaller jungle gym for the toddlers. The rock wall is for ages 5+ and the spinning teacups were for everyone. Just be prepared for your kids to beg you for tokens to play video games and try their shot at the endless claw machines. You could easily spend a whole afternoon here. P.S. the food is surprisingly good. #queens #nycmom #nyckids #nyclife #indoorplayground
