3/23/24 Saturday movie Ghostbusters! Really enjoyed the movie. Been coming here since they opened and signed up to be an unlimited member. Know some of the staff very well and they are always friendly. Connie, Edgar, Auslyn and Marshall plus a few others are always very friendly, courteous and helpful. Miss Taylor when he was here. He is at their Brooklyn location. Very nice and sweet. I like that they added more food options. Their pretzel sticks are amazing as well as their pepperoni pizza. Today we got both plus chicken tenders with fries, ice cream and an icee. Will most likely go back and watch Ghostbusters again tomorrow!

1/8/22 Saturday Went to see a movie šŸŽ„šŸæ today and when I entered the woman at the front asked for my ID/vaccination card. I told her I wanted to buy my ticket first and she said no, you need to show me both first. I said I come here all the time and you see me here all the time. She said "I don't care" I need to see it first. She said she was following the rules. I totally understand the rules and it's not my first time here. I understand if I have not been to this theater before but I frequent this theater so much that I am an unlimited member. I didn't appreciate the way she spoke with me and I let her know she didn't need to be nasty. She said how when I asked for the ID/vaccination card. It's the response after that she forgot and there is a better way to talk to a customer.. I told her I am going to let manager know and she said "I Don't Care"! I did speak with the manager and he said he will speak with her. Whether he did or not, at least I spoke up and sharing my experience.

Been coming to this location since they opened. The staff is always courteous and friendly. I like that now they moved the staff that takes your tickets closer to when you first reach your floor because getting food before they take tickets can be a mess if you are buying snacks and don't have help. The theaters are nice and cool not too cold for warm days like today. My seat today had some crumbs on it and I had to clean before sitting but overall the seats are always clean. Nice to have a theater close by so I don't have travel so far...

I am a movies lover..i am glad that i discovered Regal cinema at both Essex crossing and battery park in NYC. I signed up as their loyalty member when I was being introduced to such scheme immediately. And since, I have been going there to enjoy my movies session. All their staffs are friendly and provide very good customer service so far..I was last night that I truly find that their thoughtfulness and professionalism is top notch… I was very touched! Peter came up to me and offer or I would say compensate me something to eat before I went for my movie ( warfare )..when he realized he mistakenly had my pizza thrown away! I was so disappointed as that’s my dinner and I was really hungry…so I was a little dismayed and went to the bar to get myself a beer so that’s when he came and offer me something to it! Well tbh, he doesn’t have to do it but he did… so I was absolutely touched by his kind gesture!

And I also want to praise the other guys at the tickets counter were great … I remember his name is Patrick and Peter were definitely there to help train Patrick.. (I figured Patrick is new..Peter and the other guy, can’t figure his name were very patient to guide him.. it was a wonderful vibes and scene to see someone who is so lenient and patient to the new staffs. Thumps up to you guys and Peter, that pepperoni pizza tasted amazingly yummy! Thanks and have a...

finally made it to this Regal Essex Crossing & RPX and it’s great. it’s a big modern multi-level movie theater planted in the Lower East Side. plenty of touchscreen order kiosks in the lobby and flatscreens with movie times and such. the actual theaters and large concession areas are on the second and third floors; a small bar on the second floor; there’s a sitting/waiting area with comfy couches on one of the upper floors; and restrooms are located on the theater floors as well. everything is really well-maintained and very clean from the theaters, lobbies, and everything else.

i saw two flicks in two different theaters so far: The Northman and Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. the theaters are super comfy recliner style with controls as well as a separate table area for food and drinks as there’s a variety of the standard concession movie items like popcorn and candy as well as other more sizable eats. as i mentioned before, each theater was spotless from the seats to the aisles and well-ventilated and air-conditioned. each movie started on time—the sound and visual of each film was great. overall, everything added up and made for a great movie experience—fun and escapist!

the staff who actually clean and maintain the theaters work hard and it shows in the cleanliness of this...

Hmm I thought I wrote something while waiting on the couch at their second floor. Yes couches in a movie theater waiting area. How crazy??!! Then after the movie, I saw a few kids sleeping there. I guess thats the side effects if you leave couches everywhere. This place is the new regal movie center downtown. I love it. Close to my train home and train from work. With M, J, Z and F train, it's a perfect location for under serviced neighborhood in Brooklyn and downtown. Beside that, this is only of those theater with the super nice couch in the movie which might cost a few dollar more. Then why would I want to watch a movie in an airplane chair? I do that on my budget airline if I desire. Maybe its the time we arrive, Friday night at 6pm. The line to the popcorn and soda and all the ripoff candies is super short like no wait. We skipped that thou and went straight to the movie. The couch is super nice and reserve seat is a bonus. I am surprised being so close to Chinatown and no one sneaked an order of dumpling into the theater. Challenge accepted!!

I don't typically post reviews on anything non-food related, but if it's real good like this theater, I'll definitely do it! It was my first time going to a Regal theater as a long-time AMC fan, but wow, was I blown away by the service when I was greeted at the door! Keep in mind they check bags here! There's also a mini lounging area to grab food or drinks. The place is dimly lit with blue lights emitted by the digital movie posters on the wall. Pretty fancy! The theater rooms have limited seating, and they fill up quickly! My boyfriend and I were able to snag seats one row from the back, which wasn't even bad. The seats were reclining and felt pretty close to the screen actually! There was no craning of the neck even though we were on the right side. When we left, there were two workers who immediately came in to clean. They also thanked us as well for coming! We had a fantastic first experience here! Everyone was so nice, and with it being a new place, I hope the excellent service will continue to be the same! I would definitely go back!
