I had a disturbing experience at this store. On the evening of Friday, October 11, 2024, around 8 PM, a female staff in this store Secretly Taking PHOTOS of female customers with her phone. After taking the pictures, she told a MALE employee, in Chinese, that she had taken the photos and invited him to look at the photos together later. The male employee, about 5’8 tall, didn’t hear her clearly, so the female employee, approximately 5-5’2 tall and weighted about 55-65 kg, repeated it twice in Chinese, and pointing at the female customer she had just photographed.

This is extremely concerning, and I highly recommend avoiding this store. It raises serious suspicions that the owner might be instructing the staff to engage in this inappropriate behavior. All the staffs are about 18-25 years old. Selling products might just be a cover for selling secretly taken photos.

There was another female staff present during the incident, about 4’9 tall and very slim, tended to avoid eye contact with customers, standing in the middle of the store. She seemed unaware of what happened.

For your safety and privacy, I suggest reconsidering any visits to this place. And be ready to call the police if you ever encounter...

I love coming to this store whenever im in the area! It has all kinds of Japanese products and it has houseware items that are so useful that you can't find in American stores! Their associates are pleasant and even advise me to open the box and check on glass housewares during checkout to make sure nothing is damaged. During my last visit i purchased a cooking oil dispenser and whenni got home I filled it with water to test it and make sure the sprayer and the pourer spouts worked, they all worked fine except when I tried locking the pourer spout the water leaked out when I tilted it. I went back to the store the day after and the associate that cashed me out remembered me when I was explaining to the other associate that the seal must not have been positioned properly during manufacturing and if I can exchange for another one of the same item. The associate called the manager and I explained and he said ok. The new one is great! A visitor was at my house the other day and saw it and wanted to know where I got it from so I will go back and buy one to...

This store has some cool products. Some hard to find cosmetics, household products, toys and snacks. I had a good time roaming the aisle and looking at the various items in the store. Most of the items are imported from Asia so it was fun checking them out. The store is big, bright and nicely organized. Unlike other stores, like Daiso, the store doesn’t feel overly stocked and confusing. The snack aisles were my favorite to peruse. There are some great snacks offered here, like strawberry cheesecake Kit Kats, mango creamy soda and matcha green tea jelly.

A lot of the items are unique and hard to find but I found a lot of the them to be overpriced. A small bag of garden flavored chips for $4?! A travel mug for $40! Yes, they were all adorable and kitschy but too expensive for me. I might consider buying one or two items from here for gifts or when I’m feeling like I want to splurge. Otherwise, it’s mostly window shopping for me when...

I got my lucky cat from this store today and my gold bunny yesterday, because it will be the rabbit year. I never eat chips, but if I see this one I grab a bag and eat it all. Price is great the same huge cat was today $75 in Manhattan, other store $55 got it here $35 plus tax. I meet with the “following” workers too,he don’t bother me I think because the economy and many are stealing from stores, unfortunately the stores have to be more aware and we have to more often now deal with it. Just a bit understanding . Many chips candy sweets, but also cosmetics and sodas in the store. Close by the same Teso Life,my opinion worth for a visit!
