I went to this key foods to buy food with a key food’s gift card and the card kept showing an error when scanned. I recommend to them to enter the card information manually and the system asked for an expiration date. The card doesn’t have one on it. Someone was “helping” but didn’t know how to solve it. That is ok but the person started to walk away and singled to the cashier to ring up another customer on line but didn’t even tell me anything. That was rude. I was a body and left in limbo. At least let me know if I can follow up. This made me feel like I was not valued as a customer. The person that I was interacting with seemed to be a supervisor or manager. He was rude at the end when saying idk, I can’t do anything for you, call the person that gave you the card, just kept walking away from the conversation. I asked for the customer service number and They couldn’t give me the correct one. I asked for his name and he didn’t want to give it to me. I didn’t feel like a valued customer. The cashier called the person that was “helping me” papa, she was nice and tried her best.
All I ask is if the person helping me (not the cashier) could have been more communicative with me, thought of other ideas to try (test the card on another machine, enter the card information manually instead of me recommending it), be more pleasant with their tone/eye contact/body language, guide me to customer service and DONT walk away from the customer.
From my perception the staff seems unhappy, not only the person who was “helping” me but also some of the other cashiers, and people stocking...
Read moreThe store is actually one of the more decent Key Foods that I have been to. Let's be really honest-that isn't saying very much as most Key Foods are pretty bad.
Good in the store: -It's cleaner than most Key Foods -Self check out so you don't have to deal with their lazy unfriendly employees. -The meat department looks decent-even though I don't eat meat. -They have your very very basic grocery needs...very...basic. -Prices are decent.
Issues with the store: -VERY VERY small aisles especially by the produce and forget about the employees that work there moving out of the way or being even remotely friendly. -The bags for the produce are so ungodly high I can barely reach them. I am 5'4" and I literally am on my tip toes in order to get a stupid bag to put my produce in. -The produce is disgusting-mushy and rotting-you have to dig for anything acceptable. Going to whole foods is worth not touching the yucky produce. -Rude and inconsiderate employees.
I come here for very basic needs and go to Whole Foods for better produce and...
Read moreATTENTION! Beware of this store! They deceive you, they are scammers! This store and the person who calls himself the supervisor, an Indian man, have deceived me twice. Here's what they do: they place lower price tags on items, and when you bring the item to the cashier, they sell it to you at the full price, which can be five times higher than the one indicated on the item. This Indian man, calling himself the manager, snatches the item from your hands and quickly removes the low-price tag. He behaves very rudely towards customers and refuses to sell at the price indicated on the item, only at a higher price. I used to visit the Key Food Windsor Place store frequently, and it was simply excellent. But after visiting this store, I do not recommend anyone to buy anything...
