So obviously it's a big boy store so it has a little bit of everything. I compared their prices to Amazon lighting and black Friday deals and Best buy was always $10 to $25 cheaper pre tax. Of course it's hit or miss depending on how accurate the information you receive and walk out with the best produce for you needs at the best price. The blame can be equally laid against an uninformed customer who has no idea what he needs or wants or a newer employee who may not specialize in what you're in the market tonourchase on any given day. They certainly have 4vs ranging from budget 4k TCL, they make great screens, or mid range 2k 4k TV's made by Sony and LG that use various technologies to create an 8knviewing experience for 95% of the consumers. They only carry one true 8k and it's a QLED where as the others are OLED. Honestly unless your budget I in limited you might as well wait till you can pick up a decent 4k for between $1k and $1.2k until next year. They do sell a variety of Dolby's new Atmos technology but I'd steer clear for now. If you are looking for that immersive experience go with the $1500 Sonos kit. Which includes a sound bar that sounds like a mimics a cenwyer and a front Land R bookshelf incredibly well. It also includes a left and right rear ans of course a sub. It actually uses a technology that automatically scans the measurements and acoustics of the room you install I in and makes for a great experience. They have a nice pair of B&W, I believe, bookshelves for $299 ans they Alaine sounded amazing fir the price and size. Rhe Kkisoch reference series obviously sounded as expected bt the subs sounded like garbage. Could have been to do with rhe signal from the receiver but I honestly believe in you added proper risers witht he correct angle, calibrated their distance from the wall and a dense, thick acoustical treatment under the riser theyed be fine. Honestly knowing how to set up your speakers correctly based I room size ans adjusting fir the Acoustics with treatments. Is extremely important. If your not going to put in the time and resources just get the Sonos system it's as close to pligband play perfection and requires zero effort and knowledge to have a great sounding kit. Anyway cheers hope you find what suits your needs and have a merry...
Read moreYesterday my friend and I visited the store. We purchased a Chromebook a couple days previous, but the internet connectivity kept droping in and out. She's here on vacation from the Caribbean so we didn't want to chance her leaving with a computer that's not working well. Anyways we got into the store an walked over to the laptops, no one was there to help because they were with other customers, so we decided to take a photo of information on the laptop we wanted to exchange the other with and proceeded to walk to the front of the store where there was a man and a lady at the counter. They were both engaged in conversation with a male customer at the counter so we stood and waited behind him. The lady at the counter "who I later found out was the manager" look at us an asked if we needed any help. We walked up to her an proceeded to try to explain, that we wanted to know how long this particular laptop would take to come in as it was previously told to us it had to be ordered. We started showing her the picture we took so she can find it in her system to let us know when, Missy proceeded to tell us she doesn't know when it would be in, not even looking at the picture. She then shouts out in the middle of speaking with us, "I'm dealing with this customer right now, when I'm finished I'll speak with you". In a very unpleasant and rude tone. I was in shock because she called us to the counter to deal with us. It was very embarrassing. We got dealt with by a pleasure young man right after. We visited the location the next day to do the exchange, when I asked who the manager was to compain about the previous service, I was told she was the manager. I mentioned her behavior to my cashier when she over heard our conversation, she then proceeded called over another staff member that was cashing next to us very loudly asking them to tell her what I said. When we were leaving out of the store she shouted out sarcastically "have a nice day". I have been coming to this best buy for years and made several purchases. Three laptops and a TV in 3weeks! The staff has always been pleasant to the point where I had full conversations with them. The manager was very RUDE. Please give her yearly customer service training. Your business will drop...
Read moreWe dropped an APPLE MACBOOK off here for repair, and was given a ten day estimate. After weeks passed, we tried to call and check status of our repair order and was unsuccessful getting this place to ANSWER THE PHONE. Today, three attempts were made, and all we gained was repeatedly hearing their hold music, and order cancellation policies. So from here, we made call after call to Best Buy, Geek Squad, and any other number that might yield results. Finally, after much duress, we were able to talk to a Geek Squad agen in COLUMBIA, SOUTH AMERICA, and found out our computer was "complete", but no notification, communication or otherwise. Meanwhile, contacting this store in Newnan Georgia, yielded nothing. Eventually, we just broke down and went to the store to get our property. We went into this ghetto store, picked up the computer after they said it was "complete", but when he brought it out of the back room, it had nothing done to it. The screen was still cracked, and was blacked out! After sharing some words of disgust with the geek squad rep, and exhausting our wait to speak to the non-responsive, cell phone holding manager, we quickly ran across town, and took it to the Apple Store at Cumberland. We were quickly given a 3-5 day estimate, and felt relieved we had gotten our computer DISLODGED from the best buy. It amazes me that the GEEK squad has zero communication with a customer of a $3000 macbook that I bought there. Twenty phone calls, at least. What a freakin joke?? They spent more time making me jump thru hoops, and answer account questions (for security reasons of course). If you read this, and still insist on buying from this store, or using it for APPLE repairs, it's all on you. I certainly recommend you go straight to APPLE. I have nothing good to say about Best Buy anymore. I will never shop in that ghetto trash dump again. I would fire that manager today if Iowned...
