From the moment that we approached the incredibly gorgeous Coastal Chateau, the bite -sized owners were right at our side- introducing all the aspects of their unique & inviting Haven… From walking up the beautiful wooden steps of the iconic, refurbished, historic 1800s hotel into the French decor with touches of antiquity - we were welcomed in a way we could’ have never imagined!!! The calming neutral- walls and floors, surrounding us with coral chandeliers and coastal decor, mixed with beautiful wood displays invited us into a world of relaxation… the marble fireplace, framed walls, antique banister and brass, glass doorknobs took us into a world not seen in any home away from home… Every room/suite has a different name - ours was “Dreamer”… the easy keyless entry opened into a place where we thought we just might stay instead of walking the boards and sitting on the beach…!!!! Everything was immaculate!!! The gorgeous headboard extended from one wall to another with shelves on either side as bed stands- all of beautiful wood… the bed was sooo comfortable; bathroom door had an inlaid beveled full length mirror…; tub and shower tile was so unique - ! I loved the Salt and Stone creams and hair products ! There was even a plush white robe and slippers for each of us!!! - slippers to keep!!! The rooftop was beyond belief with comfy wicker furniture and views of Gillian’s Wonderland ferris wheel, gold dome, US flag, and beautiful cross- we gazed at the constellations from there- in awe of it all!!!! We cannot wait to return to the mist special getaway in OCNJ!!!!
