I rented a bike for my Grandson here. Olivia was very friendly, at first. My Grand is almost 16. This was his first trip he was allowed to bring a friend and have a little freedom. So, he was riding on the boardwalk, something happened , either the back break got stuck , whatever, the bike stopped and he went over. Thankfully he just had a scrap on his arm. I called and explained what happened and Olivia came over. The vasket on the bike was smooched , because he landed on it , and the front brakes were bent also. She did not ask if he was ok, she went on a rant about teenagers, and how they all lie , that she knows bikes , and my grandson was lying , that he hit a pole or a parked car, (do not think there's parked cars on the boardwalk) that teenagers all drink on the beach at night, steal furniture from porches, on and on. Lucky the guy who is also an owner came right over too. He asked right away if my Grand was ok. He was. Except he was insulted when I told him Olivia said he was a liar, and that I probaly did not watch my Grand kid. Any how, the owner did say the bike can be fixed and he was glad my grand was alright. Oh Olivia, I want you to know my Grand was allowed one trip with his friend on the board walk and had to be and was back by 8pm. I will bring his bike from home next time. BTW Olivia, his friends parents were on the boardwalk too and they all played mini golf and shopped. You cannot judge all teens as bad. If not for the owner, I guess he's Olivia's brother, this may not have turned out as it did. Olivia very kindly cleaned up my bike (it looks brand new!) and was one of the most genuinely nice people to chat with. The tune up and parts fee was extremely reasonable and more than fair.

We've been renting from OCBC for a couple of years and rented a few bikes from OC Bicycle Center last week. Unfortunately, one of the bikes was stolen. After talking with the owner, we were charged for the bike and told if the bike shows up he'd credit our card. Not thinking the bike would be found we chalked it up to "lesson learned". He did however, not charge us the weekly rental charge since we didn't have the bike (which was nice). ANYWAY..... the bike was found. They personally called us and immediately credited our credit card! It's so refreshing to see an honest business! We would have never known the bike was found.
