Promenade Food Court — Restaurant in Ocean City

Unbelievable experience at this food court. I barely ever write reviews I feel compelled enough unfortunately to write one. Sunday evening 7/17/2022 myself and my extended family cam for my moms birthday. We had 5 adults and three kids. Half my family chose to attempt to get their food at this food court while two of us grabbed a bucket or Crab fries from Chickie and Pete's on the way there. There's an older (maybe early 60s) man very tan and bald head that was wiping table. He came to our table and literally kicked my entire family out of the food court adults, children and all, while half my family was in line at different establishments within the food court because we had two buckets of Chickie and Pete's fries there on the table among other food that was purchased at the food court. I didn't even understand what he was saying, he had a bit of an accent, and I couldn't believe he was trying to explain to me that he was kicking my entire family out of the food court because we had an item that was not purchased there. I literally still cannot believe how ride this guy was and we all had to eat our food off our laps across the boardwalk, including all the food that was purchased at the food court. Everyone around was looking at this guy thinking he was joking or he was actually telling my whole family to leave over having two buckets of fries that weren't purchased there. Just unbelievable. It should be known and management should talk to him as his behavior will certainly deter other guest from this...

I can't say enough good things about this family-friendly business. The food was great, and the medical treatment was second to none. My granddaughter was walking with no shoes on and managed to pick up a good sized splinter in her foot. My daughter told me she needed to take her to a medical station and asked where there was one. Maria came out from behind the burger counter and calmed her down and her mother came out and offered bandaids and bactine spray. Then to top it off, Steven came from the pizza shop and offered to remove it for us. Steve was an ex marine with firefighting and medical training. He looked at it and decided it would be best to take her to Sommers point for treatment only because he didn't have a sharp enough knife to remove it. This family will go out of their way to make sure that you have a good time while you are visiting the shore. We will be visiting Maria, her mom and Steven...

On Saturday, June 14th 2014, after purchasing 2 pizzas at Manco and Manco next to the Promenade Food Court, my family of 6 and my friends family of 4, the oldest kid in the group being 5 y/o, were cursed out by the owner of the pizza shop, for trying to sit at a table in front of the food court. Even after we explained that we asked first and were willing to ALSO BUY FROM HIS SHOP, the proprietor continued to flip me and my friends off, and made outrageous claims that his pizza was better, and we were not welcome in his food court. We left, 6 children sobbing, looking for an open bench to server dinner to our families.

The unbelievable lack of compassion for a father trying to feed his family, not to mention a would be patron, because we bought a pizza next door, is beyond reproach. I will NEVER SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY HERE. I ask that those reading this review, consider...
