Shirt Shack — Local services in Ocean City

Poor quality products, horrendous customer service. Yesterday, I was shopping with my brother, my friend, and my two cousins. After our group bought more than 50 dollars worth of merchandise, my 12 year old cousin was accused of shoplifting an anklet that she had already bought and was going to wear out of the store. Either an employee or the owner asked to see a receipt, which the cashier had thrown away, so she had to verify with the cashier that she had already paid for the anklet, which BROKE THE NEXT DAY. I was then accused of shoplifting a keychain simply because I was a teenager, and two employees cornered me and loudly yelled at me while threatening to press charges. They then would not listen to anything I said and made the police escort me out while we waited for our parents to show up. This was a traumatic experience which ruined my perception of the Ocean City boardwalk, where I have been traveling to my entire life. Do not go to this store. My family was in their shopping and I was staying outside and my daughter was in there with my family. She seen a bracelet that she liked. She came to show me and then walked back in and came out crying because the worker snatched it off of her wrist. Mind you my family bought from that store and we were going to buy her that bracelet. And then, when I went in there to ask, why was hands put on my child they looked at me like I was stupid, even the woman admit that she snatched it from my daughter and she apologized… i’ve been asked for the manager. The order woman said she’s the manager. And she just looked at me like I had three heads because I guess it’s OK for an adult to put hands on a seven year old child. It’s ridiculous and sickening. My family and I will never be returning there again and I have a big platform on TikTok and I will be putting...

We have been in this store on every trip down the shore. I don't think I ever recall an entire display of plus size t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. And I don't mean 1x and 2x. I was pleased to see 3x, 4x and even 5x. If you are plus size you know that sometimes a 3x fits nice and roomy other times it's very tight, therefore I like to grab and 4x sometimes. I like my hoodie roomy and comfy. I tried on a few. and they fit great. I didn't really have it in my budget on that visit but I will be returning for a tshirt and hoodie in the next few weeks. Thank you for including those of us that don't fit the standard model. I hope others follow soon. Aside from my rant about the big girl (and guy) clothes they have other great items to grab to remember your stay in Ocean City. Check them out next time your down at the shore...
