Hollywood Arcade — Local services in Ocean City

When I entered the shop and played 3 of the 'play until you win' games that give you prizes, I found that 2 of them only let you play once and stopped operating, and the third took my quarters and didn't turn on at all. When I attempted to find a staff member to tell them about the malfunctioning machines, there were none to be found. I promptly exited after 2 minutes of searching. This place has poor service and broken merchandise, and the only reason I give it 3 stars is because I can see the appeal to the age group of 5 and under, as there are several machines just for them. I also didn't try all of the machines, which could work as intended. If you want a better, more reliable arcade, then go to Jilly's. Hollywood arcade is not nearly as good, but if you're in ocean city for a while, it's worth a shot if you need...

Not a huge arcade so it loses a star for that. However, it is one of the only arcades in all of OCNJ to have updated games. They have the larger than life, massive space Invaders, the new TMNT game (my kids love it and so do I), and various other new games. It's also a large open space so it doesn't get overheated. Lastly, it's connected to a carnival ride spot...so you have options when your kids...

An eclectic mix of old school and new arcade games. Plenty of racing games, pinball, basketball shooters, skeeball, shooter games, air hockey and even some pool tables. It’s just like the arcades I grew up on in the mid 90s. It takes QUARTERS. Too many arcades these days force you to buy a player card to play their games so this is a HUGE bonus.
