I bought a pair of glasses for Fatherâs Day 2025, which was celebrated on Sunday, June 15, 2025, for $400. I also purchased an additional insurance plan for $39, which was supposed to cover any damage or defect.
However, just two months later, one of the glasses broke â the piece that holds the side arm came off, making them impossible to use. On Friday, August 22, 2025, I went back to the store located at the Orlando International Drive outlet to claim the warranty.
To my surprise, they told me I had to pay an extra $53 âcopay,â something that was never mentioned at the time of purchase. We explained that the glasses had only been used for two months, but the fine print of the warranty does not clearly state this exception.
This makes me seriously doubt whether the glasses are even authentic. In the end, I paid $400 + $39 + $53 = $492 for a product of poor quality and a warranty that does not deliver what it promises.
Very disappointing. I strongly advise being cautious when buying at this store: the products seem to be low quality, and the warranties...
   Read moreSad to say it was not a pleasant experience. Went in to get a pair of Oakley's. Shop assistant pretty much useless and not helpful. Decided on a pair of Canteen's. The assistant them took the display pair, wiped it with a cloth, put them in the wrong sock and then tried to sell them to me after i swiped my card and not asking for ID. I said o was not happy with a "used" pair as the pair and the lady said that all pairs are cleaned and inspected prior to trying on and selling, which i a blatant lie as i just tried on about 10 pairs that were not! I asked to cancel my transaction and was told it would be very difficult...... Really? The manager then overheard and asked the assistant to call the other shop where i finally got the correct pair in the right sock in the right box and they were new. Although at the other outlet around the corner, there were some sarcastic comments..... All things considered. I will never shop at sunglasses hut again. I would go to the Oakley Vault...

I went to the store to return a pair of sunglasses I bought online because one of the lenses fell out while cleaning, even though the frame had no visible damage. Unfortunately, I was told by two different sales associates that they could not help me because the purchase was made online.
Later, I contacted Sunglass Hut customer support, and they confirmed that the store should have accepted my return and assisted me with the process.
Instead, I wasted a lot of time going back and forth between the store and customer service, and now Iâm forced to handle the return myself online and ship the sunglasses through UPS.
This was an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience, and I expected much better service from a premium brand like...
