I am a repeat customer at Lunds Fine Art Gallery. This past year I purchased my second painting and dealt with Derek Boone. I gave Derek $200 cash to hold the painting until I could get back home and measure the space. On my receipt he wrote cash is refundable as per our discussion.He also told me that the $200 would be applied to the total cost of $3000 if we kept the painting. When we told Derek we were keeping the painting we paid him $3000 via PayPal when we should have only paid him $2800. When I contacted Derek to get my $200 back, he said he would get it to me. Not only did I speak to him on the phone personally, but I wrote him several emails. He stopped responding to the emails, texts and phone calls and I have never received the $200 back that is owed to me. it is appalling that Derek agreed that he owed me the $200 & I have a written receipt saying it as well. Yet Derek has not given me the courtesy to explain what is going on. I have spent thousands of dollars on two paintings.
