Norsk Leather & Fur — Local services in Park City

I’m not a frequent review writer, but, after such a pleasant encounter at this gem in Park City, I feel compelled to share my experience.

I stumbled across the store when I was wandering down Main St., looking for a lightweight puffer shell to wear under my winter coat and on its own through the spring at home in Indiana. I don’t usually frequent fur and leather shops - just not my style - but when I saw a peek of pink in the window, I decided to check it out.

That peek of pink turned out to be exactly what I was looking for and exactly what I wouldn’t have expected to find in there. I had been searching high and low among all of the usual suspects, and, tucked in this shop housing primarily unique furs and leather goods was the perfect jacket.

The icing on the cake was my lovely interaction with the new owner, Paul, who went out of his way to help me find the proper size, never made me feel pressured about buying anything, and still treated me with respect and took me seriously despite my young professional age.

Such a wonderful experience all round! My husband and I came about this place while on holiday and I felt like a kid in a candy shop. I’ve never personally picked out and bought a fur coat before. There were so many options and all were beautiful. The store was very well laid out and organized yet at the same time, very Hygge! We went back probably 3 times hoping to make the right decision on something relatively expensive (for us). The owner was very helpful and patient during the entire process. We eventually made up our mind on a coat I’d been looking at and trying on since day one. He shipped me a brand new one and when it came in the mail it was nicely wrapped. 5 star isn’t enough. This is the best place ever to buy leather and fur. The attached picture is me in my most recent fur purchase. I told Paul (owner) what I had to spend and what I wanted. He measured me, we talked about sheared mink and sheared beaver, pros and cons. Paul knows his stuff and was so helpful on choosing a style I would wear often. He had the coat custom made for me, at a price I could afford, and I LOVE IT!! I stop in when I can because Paul has become a friend. He has great styles and has expanded his inventory.
