My girlfriend and I had the best experience renting our ski gear from Breeze at the Park City Base over the Thanksgiving holiday a few weeks ago. It's cliche, but if we could give six stars instead of five, we would find a way to give seven. We can't say enough positive things about this place and the staff that helped us, but we will try!
Justin, the manager, was very knowledgeable about the items in stock and efficiently helped me find the best deal on ski pants for my money. Then, throughout the rental process, Justin and his fellow all-star employee Sam expertly advised us on our choices of skis, boots, poles and helmets. They really took their time with us to ensure we were not only happy with the way our gear looked and fit, but also made sure we felt comfortable and patiently made adjustments as needed.
After a lackluster day of skiing the one open run (the weather was not ideal this year), we had a ton of tourist-y questions about the conditions at nearby resorts (Alta, Snowbird, etc.) due to the fact our EpicPasses were restricted at Park City the following day. Justin and Sam were full of information and recommendations, and in a display of unrivaled "customer service", Sam offered to let us tag along on his off-day trip to Brighton the following day. We proceeded to have a fantastic day on the slopes with our Breeze rental skis and even made a new friend in the process!
We have already shared our story among our friends and of course recommended they all go see Justin, Sam and the rest of the Breeze team the next time they visit Park City. We are already planning our next Park City getaway, and looking forward to starting and ending our days on the...
Read moreI would not recommend doing business at this store. I recently accompanied a friend to purchase a snowboard, the friend found a snowboard and was told he could purchase the board for $250.00; however, at the cash register, in the middle of writing the purchase ticket, the employee informed the customer that they would not be selling him the board due to some rental program that was not previously mentioned to the customer. Additionally, it was noted that there were no bindings attached to the board nor were there bindings in the store inventory. Since there was there two boards of the same kind, the customer nicely asked to purchase the other board and again, at the cash register, was told that he could not purchase the board. The employees admitted to recently selling a board exactly like this one. The employees did not offer any kind of resolution or apology to the customer after coaxing him to the cash register twice with promise of purchase. The customer was further told that there was nothing similar in stock for purchase without offering to assist the customer by ordering the board or offering online shopping. The customer left the store empty-handed, disappointed and unimpressed with this store and...
