BRIDES BEWARE!!!
I made an 11a.m. appointment, the earliest available, for my daughter’s wedding party of 8 many months before and confirmed the appointment close to the date. We had to wait 45 minutes for the technicians to arrive. Then everything went bizarrely terrible. Two techs got up 4 and 5 times to smoke cigarettes. Somehow the 12 year olds were allowed to make their own choices. Their bills alone were $120 and $130! I paid well over what I expected to pay. I unfortunately gave him a tip. 😔 Some of the women got the wrong polish combination they asked for. I was told the polish I picked out “is $5 extra” well into my pedicure. What are you going to do? Take your feet out of water and pick something else? My tech literally got mad at me because he could not understand what i was asking for!!! He was sooo incredibly rude! It was surreal! He skipped most of the normal mani/pedi services and I said nothing so my daughter’s day wouldn’t get worse. She cried after receiving such terrible service resulting in 3 of her nails breaking, which she had been hyper-vigilant caring for many months prior. I assume they pegged us as tourists right away!
Sheer(shear) envy’s owner, Toni, said this is where all the locals go. But whatever you endeavor, do NOT get your hair done at sheer envy! We paid for hair and makeup and it was so incredibly terrible (she didn’t use setting lotion on me and set it against the curl pattern. My daughter wanted a blowout to make her curls big and Toni had her come in with dry hair then used a curling iron on her naturally curly hair) she went home, showered and redid it all herself.
BRIDES BEWARE!!! I suggest trying the services of whomever you would like to use for your very special day! It will certainly be worth the extra...
Read morei called before arriving to the salon and asked if they had time, or if i needed to come in the morning and explained that i was in no hurry and could come the following day if that was easier for them, the person on the phone was very nice and said they had time to do my nails. upon arrival, “Phuc” the man who provided me my service was very rude, and very rushed. he told me the color i picked “was too see through” and chose a different color for me. when i picked a similar color he followed up with “what’s the difference in those colors?” so i stuck to the color he selected. when i arrived, the lady beside me had already had her acrylics applied and partially her color on. (she was doing gel as well). i arrived at 7 on the dot and was out by 7:20. he was very rough on me, because he was in such a hurry. my pinky was actually bleeding from the file he used when i left. me and the lady beside me paid and left at the same time! crazy because when i started she was already getting hers painted. he applied little glue, my nails are weak. he didn’t do the length i wanted because of time. and was making it very clear the entire time he had no desires to actually give me a service. i tipped him 10$ because i literally felt so bad that i took his precious time away from him. i felt very uncomfortable, unappreciated, and felt like an inconvenience. i love the colors they have, and they have a beautiful salon, but i will not be returning and also going to a different salon tomorrow morning to get a color change because they simply do not go together and not what i wanted. Good work,...
Read moreI had a horrible experience. It's bee 3 days and I'm still fairly mad. T Nails was the only place that had walk-ins. Everyone else in my party had a great experience, they all loved their technicians and their mani/pedi's look great.
The woman who did my nails clipped my cuticles too close and made me bleed, on my middle left finger and right thumb. At the time I said it was fine accidents happen and she was very apologetic. But the cut on my thumb wasn't clean and a day later I had to clean it up with some nail clippers. Everytime I brushed my right hand against something it would throb and catch like a hang nail. The cut on my left hand is deep looking at it, it doesn't even seem like she was trying to be careful. And when she asked the tech next to her for the antiseptic he said, "again?".
She also tried convincing me to use the rotary tool on my bare nails twice, telling me that the gel wouldn't stick as well. You should never use a rotary tool on naked nails.
She asked if I wanted shaping. I said no the shape is fine then proceeded to shape after she had applied the gel polish. I had gel on most of my fingertips afterwards as well.
Its been again 3 days and there's still dried blood on my middle fingernail. I've showered and washed my hands and at this point I'm convinced it's under the gel polish. There's also remnants of the enamel color I had on my nails before I went in.
She felt so guilty about my cuticles that I tipped her anyway, but I wish I had gone...
