Holy Rosary is a traditional Catholic Church ran by Dominicans. Rosary Priory was founded in 1894 by the Western Dominican Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, part of the worldwide Dominican Order, at the request of Archbishop Gross of Portland, Oregon, for the purpose of spreading devotion to the Mother of God, particularly through the propagation of her Rosary. Due to the pastoral needs of the archdiocese, the church was made a parish in 1908. There is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament during the week, public recitation of the divine office, and parish rosary twice a day, RCIA and lay theology classes twice a week as well as an extensive CCD program. The parish supports two chapters of the Dominican Laity and two chapters of the Carmelite Third Order. In order to keep up the tradition, Mass is celebrated in Latin once a month according to the ancient...

Read moreAttended First Friday confession and Dominican rite Mass, and found Holy Rosary is wonderful resource for Catholics seeking clear teaching, reverent worship, and unmistakably Catholic culture. Dominus meus et Deus meus! This gives me another option for Mass and confession times when I am unable to make it to my similarly wonderful home parish of St Stephen Catholic...
