Popped in quick on July 2nd to buy milk for the kiddos. On July 3rd when they used it for their cereal we realized that it was expired dated June 30) and had turned sour. Went back later that day (still july 3rd) to buy more milk and everything in the case was dated to expire July 4th. Since I had all ready purchased one bad half gallon I very nicely (and honestly I was very nice) asked if they could go in the back cooler and bring out something fresher. There was no one in line in behind me. And there was a young man next to the checkout not appearing to.be doing anything. The cashier REFUSED to look, and told me all they had was in the display case. I told him I had seen other half gallons in crates in the cooler behind the display. He then said he was not going back there, but would refund money from yesterdays purchase. I would have rather ate that cost and just bought a decent half gallon of milk, but since he was so rude I took him up on his offer of a refund. Thinking that was the least he could do. He then sent the guy doing nothing to the display case to grab milk to ring up to refund my money. So, keep in mind he refused to allow him to grab me a fresh one to sell, but could go back there to grab an old one to refund me from yesterday. The young man came back and attempted to do a refund but could not figure out how to do it. At this point we went from no one in line behind me when I initially asked to now the store is easily 10 people deep in line waiting to be checked out. Finally rude guy shows up with a half gallon of milk dated July 18th. 🤔🤔🤔 .
I rarely write reviews but this whole situation was handled so poorly and he acted completely ridiculous. But my daughter has decent milk to drink and he turned out to look like a fool so I guess it is a win for me in the...
Read moreNice little grocery store. I read some reviews about how expensive they are I didn't really notice a huge difference. It is on an island so of course the price is gonna be higher then on the mainland. Anyway the 2 employees I had contact with her really nice, it is a small store but they do have a nice variety of stuff. Everything from candy, pop, chips, bathroom stuff. Paper plates and towels. Even some meats. I would definitely go back. Right next door is another little store I don't know if they are under the same management or not but they sell beer and wine. The cashier was really nice I wish I got her name. I do believe they also sell tobacco and...
Read moreVery nice little store on the island. Prices are a little high but not any higher than you would expect on a vacation island. It normally is pretty well stocked but there are times some things are a little short. Great for picking up anything you may have forgot or just stopping to get a drink. Staff has always been nice...
