All the Simmer restaurants are legit and hella good but the claw bar is top notch! Their outdoor dinning is well set up with plenty of socially distanced tables, all the friendly staff are wearing masks and heavily cleaning after each table. The food is so flavorful and addictive, I find myself craving the spicy Simmer sauce during my work day!
I get the shrimp boil with simmer sauce with the added combo of corn, sausage & potatoes, you choose the level of spice. I always get spicy and it never disappoints, I love the burn! I've also had the lobster and crab, very tasty!! The garlic butter sauce is great also! My husband can't do spice so he gets the mild in his bag and its perfect. All the seafood boils are great quality food and all the different sauces you can get are amazing! Tip- get a side of the sauce you have in your seafood boil bag so you can dip it! The simmer sauce is especially good!
We've tried alot of their food, especially during happy hour which is daily right now. The coconut shrimp appetizer is crispy and delicious with a great dipping sauce. The garlic noodles are out of this world, get it with extra toppings (garlic & cheese), so amazing! Definitely ORDER THE SHORT RIBS! 5 stars, the best in sonoma county! Authentic flavor with great quality meat, you have to try it! Surprisingly the fish sauce crispy chicken wings are FIRE! honestly never thought these would be so amazing because fish sauce you taste, don't smell and these you can smell and taste with no problem! Lol if you know then you know, GET THE CHICKEN WINGS!
They do TO-GO food also, order everything togo and it travels well!
The staff is so friendly, attentive and quick its an overall great experience! 5 stars, I always recommended...

Decor/Atmosphere: Seafood sports bar. Wall mounted TVs. Claw Machines. High ceiling over an open bar.
There is a board behind the cashier that tells you the market price for the various seafood boil options...really helpful. 1 pound minimum per item.
Service/ Front of the House: Greeted. Asked if we were doing seafood or hot pot.
Service/Serving Staff: Rodrigo: Friendly. Patient and informative.
Food: Korean short ribs $21.00 Cooked and served on a piping hot iron pan so becareful!! Nice char and smokey notes. Sweet and savory marinade. Like all Korean short ribs they can be a bit chewy, but its worth the effort. The ribs sit on top of some sliced white onions. Do not ignore the onions. They get really tender and pickup the sweetness from the ribs.
**Pro tip, if you want garlic noodles $10 when you add it to your seafood boil. Just get the udon noodles $6 with the garlic butter sauce. The udon is added into the bag and will pick up the garlic butter flavors and save $4 at the same time.
Value: Expensive
Restroom: Men's room has 1 urinal and 2 stalls and a single sink. The handicap stall is roomy and should be able to accommodate a wheelchair. The regular stall is bit on the narrow side. However, wherever I stepped, the floors felt a bit tacky.
Will I come back?: No thanks... we only went for the experience. Pretty pricey... cost to quality to quanity ratio did not make me want...
Read moreWe had such a wonderful time here. This happens to be my son’s favorite seafood restaurant and he wanted it as his last meal before he headed out into the world on his next adventure. So I obliged. Took him and his besties and let them go to town.
Because we are over an hour away, I had called to ask if we would still be seating based on our arrival time. They said yes, so we made the trip. Upon arrival we were advised they were no longer seating. I had explained that my son was leaving, this was his only request, and we made the trip because we were told we could still be seated. The manager was so kind. She told us that she apologized for any miscommunication and they could still eat.
I didn’t get photos of their appetizers because young boys/men eat like food is going out of style. But I did take some of their meals. My son said he wasn’t sure what the sauce was, he took whatever was recommended to him and I think it was a house sauce, maybe a Simmer Sauce. Whatever it was, he said it was the best ever.
I was so grateful they served my boys, I started helping clean the other tables while my kids ate. lol I know we were the last customers and was so thankful to them for giving my boy this moment, it meant more than you’ll ever know because the next day, I was dropping him off and without you guys, he wouldn’t have had an amazing last meal of his request. Thanks for giving us great memories to hold onto. I will definitely bring him back someday to celebrate his accomplishments and show our appreciation to you all for giving us this...
